"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" starts its seventh season tonight, but you'll have to look on USA — not NBC, where it aired for the past six years — to find it. The show's original episodes are now airing on that network (which NBC owns), with repeats airing sometime later on NBC. It seemed like the perfect time to ask you "L&O" fans which version of the series is your favorite.

I do not really like Law And Order and it bothers me so much that is always on tv on atleast like 3 different channels at one time.
1I love SVU ... it's always intriguing and I love how they always have twists and turns so it's always unpredictable. But let's be honest: Christopher Meloni is my older-guy crush. HA!
2I love SVU!! I love Mariska! She's great!..The cases are already so intriguing!
3CI - I think Vincent D'Onofrio is great! I also like SVU but some of their cases are too creepy esp. for someone who lives alone...
4I will agree that the stories are compelling, and often parallel real life dramas, however I find fault in the manner in which "justice" is often achieved. I am a public defender. It never fails that the cops on all three of these shows cross constitutional/legal lines to catch the "bad guy." These shows demean the American justice system which they seek to glorify. Maybe these shows would be more interesting/thought provoking if the officers and district attorneys who are portrayed played by the rules, and lost when they didn't.
5I love all three shows the the quirkiness of Bobby Goran in Criminal Intent attracts me the most.
6SVU is the best law and order. i like the shocking sex crime cases.
7I was a fan of original Law & Order, until they got rid of Chris Noth (the departure of Michael Moriarity a few seasons prior didn't help)... and I stopped watching all together ...
8I love CI and SVU not a fan of the original. SVU has the most character development and CI, well it's just fascinating.
If they always played by the rules it would be boring and no one would watch it. Drama sells, it's all about the numbers and the money.
9i am a lover of all the l&o i tend to like CI better, the acting is wonderful on it.

12I lurve SVU. I can't really get into the other two but SVU is a guilty pleasure of mine. On Labor Day I didn't even leave the house because there was a marathon on USA.

14they were filming yesterday and today right outside my school/work and it was awsome! I got to see marishka hargatay(sp?) chris meloni and ice-t and the new cop was there too they kept filming the scenes over and over but it was so fascinating i couldn't stop watching

SVU and I love that Adam Beach is on there now! CI is a close second. I love Chris Noth.

17Criminal Intent, it's got a more variety of cases and it's interesting. SVU is the same ol' stuff every week. It gets very old.
18I love the whole Law and Order franchise! I love how it is always on so I can watch it all the time. I love Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni is a hottie!

21SUV. the most touching, disturbing, intresting, twisted and creepy. i love everything they come up with. all the others have terrible actors and predictable cases.

30Definately SVU. The cast is incredible and the chemistry between the characters is the best. I like the original L&O, but CI, I can't stand. The lead guy annoys the heck outta me.

33I can watch reruns of the detective team of Lenny Brisco and Mike Logan all day long!!! They were absolutely the all time best!!!
34SVU!!!! it's just so good! i used to like criminal intent, but it's pace can be a little bit slow.
35Criminal Intent is just the LAW part, there is no ORDER!!! How can you call a show Law & Order if there is never any depiction of the case ensuing the investigation?? I love the show, but it drives me absolutely crazy that it's still labeled under the L&O name.
