The season premiere of Desperate Housewives" definitely delivered much of what we've come to expect and love about this show. All the usual suspects were present: melodrama, humor, cattiness and a touch of real human emotion. This week's episode also featured some new characters with shady secrets of their own. Susan and Mike — Oh, Susan. Will you ever grow up and stop freaking out about everything? I think probably not. So Susan's new neighbor/OBGYN Adam (Nathan Fillion) informs her that she may be menopausal but then it turns out — surprise! — she's pregnant!
Bree and Orson — Still doing the fake pregnancy thing, though for Orson the whole charade is starting to wear him down. When he suggests faking a miscarriage, Bree reveals that she really wants a second chance to parent right. Sidenote: Just because Andrew is gay means he loves leather pants, apparently.
Gaby and Victor/Carlos — That whole Victor-Gaby marriage thing is not going to end well, I can feel it. Planning to run away with Carlos seemed a little silly to me, though I suppose it's in keeping with Gaby's impulsive nature.
Lynette and Tom — Poor Lynnette. Felicity Huffman always manages to breathe a bit of real humanity into this show and this week she yet again made me feel a little weepy. At least the others know she has cancer now, though, so hopefully she'll get some of the help she needs.
Edie and Carlos — So Edie's not dead. It was all a stunt to get some more attention from Carlos. Then, one night when he's off doing illicit things with Gaby, Edie discovers an off-shore account Carlos has been hiding from everyone. And Edie has some ammo once again.
Katherine, Adam and Dylan Mayfair — The new (but old) neighbors on Wisteria Lane! Katherine (Dana Delany) used to live on the street and was buddies with Susan. Adam (Nathan Fillion) is an OBGYN which of course provides an awkward situation for Susan. Dylan used to be best friends with Julie Meyers but can't seem to recall anything about her childhood. This family, like any that moves into Wisteria Lane, has a lot to hide.

I really enjoyed the show last night, and the new family is very mysterious and intriguing. Now how is the mom going to ever explain her daughters inability to rememer ANYTHING from her childhood?? That could all be interesting. I don't know how Bree is going to pull this all off, though. Do we know everything about Orson- doesn't he still have some secrets of his own?
1I CANNOT STAND Susan/Teri Hatcher. Her character annoys the absolute crap out of me. She has never had a serious plotline in the span of the show. It's all boyfriends and fluff. I wish they would kill her off.
2100 bucks says Danielle's baby with be half-black and what will Bree do about that?
3fleurfairy- I thought about that as well, but she was sleeping with Edie's nephew for a while. Well, you know soap opera time doesn't make sense anyways. At that point she'll probably lie and say the baby died at birth or something- that wouldn't work for her in her perfect world. I hope they don't progress Susan's pregnancy too quickly and something happens with the two babies. I am getting way ahead of myself, but I am sure they'll come up with something outrageous.

5The new family on Wisteria Lane has a lot of explaining to do. Wonder how Susan's daughter will take the pregnancy news...probably go and get pregnant herself. What's going to happen to Carlos and Gaby?
I really enjoyed the premiere. Considering how I was disappointed by so many of the season premieres this one definitely delivered.
6Good episode overall. I like the Dylan mystery, but really, Julie and Dylan would only have been around 4, maybe 5 (isn't Julie about 16?), when Dylan last lived on Wisteria Ln., so it's really not that unusual that she wouldn't remember anything.
7I'm almost sure there will be some questioning on who's the father of Susan's baby. After all, Ian was still in the picture not so long ago.
8I thought the premier was awesome!
Here are my thoughts
-I wish Gaby and Carlos would get back together. Victor's a jerk.
9-My boyfriend thinks that Susan's baby isn't Mikes - that it could be Ian's.
-I really liked the part with the 'retractable' meat fork! That was a riot
-The real Dylan was kidnapped and the parents had to kidnap another girl to replace Dylan --- hmmm who knows where that storyline is going to go?
-The Lynette story was pretty sad, but the throw-up in the purse part was Hilarious!!!
-Oh and Edie's a B*tch - all she is going to do now is blackmail Carlos into staying with her. I am sure you heard Mary Alice at the beginning - that later on Carlos will wish he had let Edie die. -- well me too!
-Oh and No more keeping secrets? lol yeah right!!!
I liked the episode too! There were a lot of surprises and some good laughs--I thought Susan was pretty funny most of the episode! It actually crossed my mine that the baby wasn't Mike's but I hope it is!! Other then the the whole Edie thing was just annoying--I can't stand her and I have always loved Gaby and Carlos together. I liked the line from the beginning when Mary Alice said "Carlos would wish she would have died that night"! HOW TRUE!
10Oooh I loved it. Especially since last season didn't quite live to my expectations.

Susan is quite possibly oen of the most annoying characters on TV , I agree with whoever said she'd never hada complete story line.
Gabrielle and Bree are crazy but I love them.
That victor guy is an ass.
And I agree Bree's baby might end up being black. And susan's might end up being Ian's.
Loved it, gave me chivers at the end, when they say..this is where it happened...

12Well I have always been a fan of this show but it's just a bit over the top now. I mean honestly, there is no one on the show that I actually like. The situation with Gabby/Carlos/Victor is just annoying! What is she waiting for with Victor?
13I hate Susan too fleurfairy! Honestly, why do I still watch this show? I was more interested in who Bret Michaels picked in Rock of Love. I guess enough said!
I thought it was fun. The show is supposed to be over the top. Lynnette is the only realistic character, but that's what make the rest of them so fun.
Except Susan. I'll give in on that one. She annoys me every time she is on screen!!

14the premiere was hilarious!! (i actually missed almost all of the episodes in season 2 because of commuting to school every sunday night, but now that i'm not in school anymore, i can finally start enjoying this show again!) And I was thinking that Danielle's baby might be half black too..
15I thought that the baby is going to be half black too, that would be so in with the DH plots. Does anyone else think that EDie is such a witch. I don't like her much.

and susan found out she was pregnant a month after she married mike. i don't remember how long it was after she stopped seeing ian, but i feel like it was pretty long. i don't know though how pregnancies work and how obvious it is and such

17It was a good episode and it'll be interesting to see how the season unfolds, especially with Danielle, Bree, and the baby.
Personally, I just have to say I'm excited to see Nathan Fillion back on TV!
18I loved the season premiere of Desperate Housewives! I can't wait to see how the plot lines work, or when they start dropping hints about what the new neighbors are hiding. And since I don't have a TV, my boyfriend gets to watch DH now, too, much to his disgust.

susan should watch out her dialogs before saying anything!!! she hurt many filipno doctors especially those who are well trained,and now working on abroad...it doesn't mean that they catch up the news about the nursing leakage examination,all filipinos who are related to medics are included!!!ABC station should make an apology ...
