Fast Times at Ridgemont High was one of the many great suggestions you gave me back when I asked for recast suggestions, and I think it's "high" time we got to recasting this awesome '80s teen movie!
If you could recast the movie with new actors, who would you pick for Stacy and her best friend, the, um, mature-for-her-age Linda? Who else could play the dazed and confused Spicoli? What about Stacy's hapless brother Brad, the nerdy Mark "Rat" Ratner and the shady Mike? Finally, of course, there's the hilariously named Mr. Hand to recast.

The New Cast of Fast Times:
Jeff Spicoli: Has to be Emile Hirsch (of Into the Wild). He looked the part in the Lords of Dogtown (the skater movie) & Oprah herself named him as the up-and-coming predecessor to Sean Penn. So I think he would be the perfect fit for a good movie--NOT just a teeny-bopper pick.
Staci Hamilton: Rachel McAdams. No explanation needed right?
Linda Barrett: Shannyn Sossamon (Rachel Bilson came in second b/c I don't think she's the best actress in the world--soo there I said it!
). The only Brown-eyed brunette who I could think of that could play a "mature-esque" lady
like Phoebe, innocent yet mature.
Mark 'Rat' Ratner: Jason Biggs.
Brad Hamilton: Shia LaBouf.
Mike Dimone: Ashton Kutcher (he looks exactly like the guy in the pic) he'd be funny and sleezy.
Mr. Hand: William Shatner.

-Seth Rogen would make a good Brad and would bring in viewers because he is so hot right now...he is also goofy and would be willing to recreate the infamous bathroom scene...lol
-I think that Hector Elizondo (most recently in Cane) would make a good Mr. Hand
