After much persuasion from Pop and several other friends, I've decided this will be the year I finally start watching "How I Met Your Mother" (OK, the Mandy Moore cameo on tonight's season premiere helped). But that left me with a dilemma: How can I possibly watch the first two seasons in time for the start of tonight's third?

Part of me is shocked and appalled at the idea of just watching season 1 & 2 highlights and professing to get the amazingness that is slap bet. The other part is overjoyed at the prospect of more viewers. It means better odds for the shows survival.

4i just watched the first few episodes of season 1 and like it so far. I think i'll rent the season 1 and 2 dvds and then watch season 3 when the new dvd comes out...next year.
its more fun watching these shorter shows a few in a row i think.
