The 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards were full of surprises, as no one series dominated the awards. "The Sopranos" won for Outstanding Drama Series, as expected, but "30 Rock" scored a surprise win in the Outstanding Comedy Series category. Other winners included America Ferrera, James Spader and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." a few surprises for sure!
1aww Heroes didnt win anything!
2good for Terry O Quinn and America!
the office was robbed!! but thank god 30 rock won it and not that awful Ugly Betty show
3I'm sad that Ugly Betty and Heroes didn't win more, but so glad that The Daily Show won again!
4I called 30 Rock because these things tend to award shows and actors of failed or in-danger shows. e.e
5I can't believe America won over Tina Fey and Mary-Loise Parker...
Ugly Betty is no where near 30 Rock or Weeds. The acting on Ugly Betty is just bad, and it's being awarded!?
6okay i watch ugly betty, but i think it's overrated. blah on america winning
7SoftRockStar, How do you figure that 30 rock is "failed" or "in danger"?
8WUJU!!! GO CONAN!!!
(sadly... that is the only winner I like, I didn't agree on anyone else.)
9who voted for the emmy's this year? did the voters just stick their heads into gossip magazines and pick whatever was 'hot' that week? terrible job. its turning into such a popularity contest, not just for the winners, but for the nominations. how these people are chosen is beyond me. i'm not going into specifics because that will take all night, but i think the only deserved award was tony bennett!! i don't know why i'm complaining, though, i didn't even watch.
