The American Music Awards show is over, and I've got your full list of who earned trophies. Following her big CMA wins, Taylor Swift dominated in the female categories, taking home AMAs for favorite artist in both pop and country categories as well as the top honor of them all: Artist of the Year.
Besides Ms. Swift, there were plenty of others who triumphed, like country act Gloriana, who pulled off a shocker of an upset with Breakthrough Artist over Lady Gaga. (Even Gloriana poked fun at the win, asking the audience to raise a show of hands if they didn't know who they are.) Michael Jackson won four posthumous honors, and his brother Jermaine took the stage with family members to accept on his behalf. I'll be going over all of the highlights from the show tomorrow — including some of my red carpet coverage and notes from the press room — so check back then! 3I'm growing very tired of Taylor Swift. I just do not understand her appeal and I think she's ridiculously overrated. I really don't think she can sing well at all and she gets too much credit as an "artist". Her marketing team is pretty genius though. Marketing her as country, pop/rock and adult contemporary? Brilliant. It's paying off big time.

Didn't watch this show because I don't care, but seriously? This is the best they can do? The list of winners and nominees were horrible, especially the alternative list. The only good win was Jay-z.
6I'm sorry but the only reason we even talk about Lady Gaga is because she is a FREAKSHOW! her music on its own is not very good and if it weren't for her get ups and performances no one would even give a darn about her..

9Michael should have won the artist of the year! He was the best, is the best, and always will be the best! Taylor really has no talent, in a few years she'll be nothing but a fading memory of a crappy artist.
