works for me!
she's been doing a great job on grey's...i think she deserved it!
I agree, I think she deserved it, but I think she should've won it last year because her performance was better in the second season.
she got a little grating for me and was part of the reason I stopped watching last season... and someone that bugged me while I was catching up online... she did a good job with the adopted daughter show, and at the end had put together a quieter way of showing her feelings... overall this wasn't her best year.
I love love Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson, and (like her mom) didn't think she really had a chance. I also love Rachel Griffiths, and just don't think Brothers and Sisters really showcased her yet, same for Lorraine Bracco this year.
She just didn't have as much substance as any of the other characters, didn't have the depth or the nuance or the opportunity to do as much....
Great decision!
her character is awful, she's not a good actress at all, and she looked horrible.
this was long deserved for katherine. that award was most certainly hers!
I love her but I was rooting for RG of B&S.
Should have been Chandra's!
I love Grey's, but I feel that Chandra carries the show. Plus, the whole Denny story annoyed me.
I think Chandra has more talent and has a tougher character to depict, but congrats anyway.
I don't know. She really doesn't stand out in the show that much. Happy for her anyway.
YAYYY! I WAS HOPING SHED WIN!!
She has been better in the last season. Some of you will hate me but I gotta say it: I HATE GREY'S!!!!
Katherine's a great actress and I'm a fan but her character has not been much of a challenge this past year to act. Chandra should've taken it this year.
i love her - i totally agree
she was great this season on grey's, but i think Sandra Oh should've won!
I didn't agree with the original list of nominees and felt she shoudn't have scored a nomination. If you are going to honor a woman from Grey's, think I would go with Sandra Oh. A much more subtle, skilled performance.
i don't know, katherine heigl personally has started to get on my nerves, so she makes grey's difficult to watch.
Sandra Oh pulls me in and has more depth so I was hoping for her but Katherine does a good job too.
I think that Katherine is phenomenal. Izzy has always been my favorite character on Grey's. I think it's a very devisive role, and you either love her or you hate her. She's supposed to be annoying, overbearing, and emtional. I think she's done, amazingly well in this role, and the award is much deserved.
I think this year she was the backbone of the storyline and she pulled it off. I love Izzy and that is because Kathrine is fantastic.
Izzie is one of the worst characters on the show IMO (her whole "I believe" speech when Meredith was in the hospital, the sleeping with George and trying to break up the marriage, mocking Callie's wedding ring, etc., all just bugged me), but I guess if she has to play irritating (lately--I used to like her), entitled, and annoying, then she's pulling it off very well. The writing wasn't that great this season either, IMO. I thought it should have gone to either Chandra or Sandra, or even Rachel Griffiths, who is awesome.
Yeah she really annoys me--I lovee Shandra (and even Sandra) more than her on the show
love grey's love her good job!
I can't stand her character. I was actually going for Sandra or Chandra.
I was cheering for Chandra Wilson, but can live with this award.
People please - NO SPOILERS!!!
Not everyone has seen Season 3
i thinks she's great on the show, even though i really don't like her as a person.
she's a plain actress... there's a whole bunch of those blonds with big boobs who sit there and cry. i like Sandra Oh, she's got the balls, and it's so much garder to play a cold-hearted b*tch, then this fuzzy thing.
Izzy made me hate the show last year!
Her character got a little annoying at certain points, but I was incredibly happy for her. Her acceptance speech was great, too.
I think that she really deserved it. She's an a amazing actress.
she is overrated! but then she annoys the crap out of me...I only watched grey's 1st season...
