I wan't sure about who wanted to win before tonight's finale, but I thought that Carol Hannah had the best collection at Fashion Week so she should've won.

I'm glad Irina won, I was surprised to see Althea in the top 2 (her looks weren't all that great), Carol Hannah could have won this if each of her pieces actually looked like part of 1 collection not many different as the judges said. I think the only nice thing about this season running so late is we only have about 6 wks or so before the next season starts.

Too bad they gave Irina such a horrible edit. It really didn't help the show. I liked all three collections, the girls did a really nice job. On the strength of her overall performance, the right person won.

This was a spoiler for me to, but I expected Irina to win.

wmchris - yeah I purposely did not go on sugar last night because I knew they would post the winner so I waited until I watched the show! I liked Irinas collection, but Carol Hannah's was my favorite and I think it is commendable that she pulled off such an amazing 13th look while being deathly ill!!!

Well you can delete if from your DVR if you really don't care to see any of their collections or anything leading up to the win. There is so much more in an hour then naming one person the winner.

I too haven't watched it yet and as soon as I woke up this morning saw EVERYWHERE (not just here) that Irinia won. It was annoying, but expected and happens with any big reality show...get over it and get used to it. Same with America's Next Top Model yesterday. The winner was on all the talk shows/morning shows, if you missed it then you surely were spoiled by turning on the TV or internet. It happens in this modern age of DVR, so when its finale night try to watch it on time or DON'T COMPLAIN!

(It's definitely NOT Buzz's fault as its all over the Internet/TV this morning and I'm sick of people complaining after EVERY episode of something!)

I also liked Carol Hannah's collection her 13th look was beautiful, but when it came down to show man ship Irina was the only one who keot me intrigued because it was different. She went crazy with the knits but it all played into what she was trying to convey.

Irina was the worst choice. first of all, she was a complete b*tch. second, did anyone else notice that ALL she ever made were coats? the dress in her collection was HORRIBLE. all she can make are coats, jackets, and fur coats. how many different coats can u make? she has NO CLUE how to tailor something for a woman, all i saw on the runway was coats and leggings, coats and leggings, and some more coats an leggings. her only win on the show was a freaking coat made from newspaper!!! ughh! and then accusing everyone of stealing her sh*t? no, i dont think so.

what can say but ugh! I agree with anonymous a b*ll sh*t win to a b*ll sh*t season.

They gave her props for her t-shirts and they were copies of trademark design, how does that not disqualify you? Irina was not my fave but she had the most cohesive high fashion line.

I LOVE CH and I expect her to be this generations Vera Wang with her amazing dresses. I think Althea might be getting a job with the THEE king of sportswear himself MK.

On to the next season and thank god they are going back to NYC.

I was not a fan of Irina's at all but when it came down to it, she put on the best runway show. It looked like the real deal. Her line could have used a splash of color but it was definitely cohesive and unique. I love Carol Hannah and her clothes were pretty (I want the first dress she sent down the runway) but it didn't have the wow factor that Irina's had. Plus it looked like the dress she sent on her muse wasn't zipped all the way up b/c her model was too big for it.

For me it was a toss between Irina and Althea, just as it was for the judges. Nothing about Carol Hannah's collection really grabbed me.
I thought Irina brought great drama, but I really wish she'd done some of those outfits in color so I could see the details better.
I thought Althea's looks were indeed cool, comfy and accessible.
Irina put on the bigger/better show though, and that's just as much a part of being successful in the business. go Girl!

Would have liked to see Carol Hannah win - she is sweet and from my husband's home town. Also loved her collection best - 13th dress was better than the other two 13th looks. Her stuff was the most wearable. Weird long sleeves on the other two collections.

I think it is so hilarious that people believe the story-lines on a reality shows (i.e. that Irina is a "b*tch", Carol Hanna is "sweet", etc.) After a decade of scripted "reality" you'd think people would catch on. We are seeing heavily edited material - none of it is real. We have no idea what these people are like.

Carol Hannah's pieces were the ones I would buy, I thought her draping and details were gorgeous!

I wanted CH to win, but Irina's was the "stronger" collection as far as the PR usual criteria...it was cohesive and fashion forward. The only thing that upset me was that CH sent off the stage first. Althea's collection was awful.

I didn't have a favorite but I was kind of liking CH's collection...especially that 1st dress. so pretty!

as for Irina..not so much. Too much black and those damn hats annoyed me!

I wish Carol Hannah would have won, I liked her pieces better (even though, as the judges said, "there was no cohesion"). I thought there was way too much black in Irina's collection. I kind of enjoyed the look Nina gave Irina after she reminded her that she had previously told her that doing an all black collection wouldn't be a good idea. She obviously didn't care about her input. I agree with the others and didn't like all the hats. They make the looks too costume-y.

I loved Carol Hannah's collection! She will go on to sell loads of clothes that I will be happy to buy I think Althea was the next bext choice. What was up with Irena's hats? Ew.

i knew irena would win but i hope not. the look nina gave her over the black was awsome. t loved ch i was suprised she was off fiirst altheas collections was disapointing for me. as was this season it was slow, boring and lacked the usual large abd often crazy personalities. hope they get back on track in ny

i'm not surprised irina won, but i strongly DESPISE her. and true, all she made were coats. funny, i'm surprised nina garcia didn't yell at her "LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS!" irina's attitude won't hold over well in the fashion industry and if i ever see her walking the streets of new york...

i, too, was upset they sent CH off first. i was rooting for her. althea's collection wasn't exactly the greatest.
