The rumor mill keeps churning about Spider-Man 4. Let's recap: First, word spread that Rachel McAdams would be playing new villain Felicia Hardy, aka The Black Cat in the fourquel — hearsay which McAdams later denied. Earlier this week Julia Stiles's name started floating around instead. And now Anne Hathaway is the latest to be added to the running.
Hathaway and Spidey seem like a solid pairing — she'll up the A-list wattage of the film, and I think a superhero blockbuster would be a nice addition to her resume. But what about Stiles? She's been in the Jason Bourne series, so she does have the experience of working on a mega franchise. Still, I just can't imagine her busting chops and throwing around kicks like Hathaway.
Neither actress is even confirmed yet, which means other ladies could still step into the roles! Let's discuss who you would like to see take on The Black Cat part —Stiles, Hathaway, or do you have another actress that you would cast?

I want Rachel McAdams! I can't picture Anne Hathway, or Julia Stiles for that matter, being feisty or sexy enough to play Catwoman.

4FYI Black Cat and Catwoman are two different characters. Black Cat is a platinum blonde and I'm not a great fan of Anne Hathaway's look as the White Queen but maybe that's only because her black browns look so stark against the platinum hair and white skin. Black Cat is also a bad ass and I just don't buy Anne Hathtaway as a badass.
5I'm not sure who would be good for the role. Maybe Eliza Dushku. And since Dollhouse just got cancelled she has the time.

9ugh anyone but anne, she rubs me the wrong way and i love the spider man movies. i think she would bring too much seriousness to this role as she seems to think too much of herself most of the time (one quote she said on the barbara walters oscar interview was "i expected to be nominated"...ugh!) i would love becki newton!

11what about Camilla Belle? She is beautiful, dark. She would be interesting. What about Grace Gummer, Meryl Streep's younger daughter? She would also be interesting.

13Rachel McAdams would be a great choice but since she declined what about Scarlet Johanssen?
14I think that Kristen Bell would be a perfect Black Cat! She has the look down, she would be so cute with Spiderman, and she could totally take him! I can see her glammed up for the Felicia part and from Veronica Mars and Heroes, she could be tough too. I think she would be better than any of the other options, especially Julia Stiles and Scarlett J.
15She is cute but not a big name. I don't know I like the Eliza Dushku idea too. Or maybe Amy Smart...
