As soon as you get ahold of your 2008 calendars, draw a big, fat heart around May 30. According to MTV, this is the date when Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, Charlotte, Big and the rest of the gang (including, randomly, Jennifer Hudson) will be coming to a theater near you!
It's a great sign for the movie that the producers want to release it on the first big weekend of the summer. So far, the ladies will be competing at the box office with an Eddie Murphy comedy Starship Dave and the Kristen Bell comedy (produced by Judd Apatow) Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Now, it seems we have everything in place for the "Sex and the City" movie... except for that pesky little plot, about which filmmakers and actors are remaining mum. Stay tuned, and clear your schedule for May 30!
