Fight Club reunion!
Brad Pitt and Edward Norton will share the screen again in State of Play, a film adaptation of the British miniseries. Kevin MacDonald, who did a phenomenal job with Last King of Scotland, will direct.

What's it about?
According to Variety, "Norton will play a congressman whose speedy political rise is threatened by an investigation into the death of his mistress. Pitt plays a politico-turned-journalist whose relationship with the solon is compromised when he oversees his newspaper's investigation into the murder and develops a relationship with the pol's estranged wife."

Hurrah!
These two make an electrifying duo onscreen, and I can't wait to see them together again.

Sounds promising. Norton is always first-rate and although I'm SO TIRED of Brad Pitt in the gossip pages, he's a good actor, especially when in gritty and/or quirky roles.

God I love me some Edward Norton, Fight Club being at the top of my list of his movies I love. I don't get at all excited about Brab Pitt (never have) but still, these two were really great together.

Wow this sounds like it's going to be a great movie.. Last King of Scotland was awesome, and you really can't beat Pitt & Norton together. Will it be as good as Fight Club? Probably not. It would take a LOT to beat out.

Well my day is made now. I LOVED the original British mini-series and I'm very interested to see what these two do with it. Even though Brad was playing a complete psycho in Fight Club, doesn't that pic of him on the poster just look adorable? Smiling

Why do they keep remaking good British stuff? just watch the original, man. You won't even have to read subtitles.

I love the actors in the original miniseries, and I hate Brad Pitt so this is one movie I won't be watching.

now this is what i'm talking about. ueah i'm tired with brad pitt too but put him and edward norton together in film gets me all giddy. i can't wait to hear more developments with the film...hmmm...i wonder who they would cast for the females. i hope they don't go for scarlet, keira, alba but actresses who are over 30, like naomi watts, thandie or someone but scarlet or keira.
