well i have college drop out, registration, i might as well complete this "trilogy" by getting graduation...BUT even if i din't have the first two, i will still get kanyes's album. i just like the music he does.

He was originally called Common Sense - yes from the underground.

and to add to that lorelei spirit, he changed his name because another artist was already called common sense so he chopped "sense" off and now is referred to as common. he's from chicago and the reason why is working with kanye west is because kanye is also from chicago and has said that common is like his rap idol. kanye wanted to work with him. common has had a following; maybe the same kind of fans that enjoy raps from mos def or nas to name a few of.

You got to like Kanye, he's like the new Pdid. The only thing that makes 50 cent a true Hip Hop icon is that he grew up in Queensbridge. And everyone who knows Hip Hop knows that the Queensbridge projects produced some of the best artist that molded the Hip Hop world. Let's just say NAZ, Mobb Deep, Marley Marl, Capone n Noreaga. So I mean, Hip Hop should just stay underground and hip. Let the sleeping giant rest. Why provoke it with I represent LA Tupac/50, oh I represent New York BIGIE/except Kanye's from Chicago. Hip Hop is dead anyway. And it was way better when artist like Common weren't household names because the music was way better.
