I've been waiting for some kind of casting update on Spider-Man 4 for a while now, and this week rumors are flying about the franchise's newest bad guys. There have been whispers that the next film may feature two villains (male and female), and that Rachel McAdams is in talks to play Felicia Hardy, aka The Black Cat.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but I like the sound of this news; I'm a big fan of McAdams and I think she's too often pigeonholed into playing the nice girl (except for Regina George, obviously). What do you think — can you see McAdams as a villain, or do that big smile and dimples belong somewhere else (like on a new love interest for Peter Parker)?

I would LOVE it and think she's be fantastic
1She already pulled off the villian in Mean Girls, so yeah I can definitely see it, and would looove to see it in SM4 (side note... a 4th, sheesh)

5Really Photodee? Because Rachel is a former competitive figure skater and her body is super fit. Do you remember her bridesmaid dresses in Wedding Crashers? Or remember her in that bustier on the MTV red carpet a few years back, for the MTV movie awards?
I think even in the Notebook you got a glimspe of her figure and G_d bless her and her bod...I think she is gorg!
Fitter than Pam Anderson...and look who thought Tobey Maguire was going to be Peter Parker? And I can't imagine anyone else in that role.
I think Rachel is great and I would love to see her in the role!

15Wait a minute....this commentary is completely off base. Rachel McAdams is not pigeon holed in even the smallest way. Playing the nice girl? Yes she does in Wedding Crashers and The Notebook. What about State of Play? She was a tough reporter. In The Family Stone she was the mean sister. In Married Life she was the manipulator. Brush up on your movie knowledge!!!

17Exactly-thinking the same thing about her role in Mean Girls. Not necessarily a villain, but not that much of a stretch from her character. Plus she's shown she can be pretty versatile. And I just really like her. lol.
