Alice Cullen is moving beyond Twilight: Actress Ashley Greene is in talks for a ghostly film titled The Apparition. The story follows a couple who is haunted after an experiment goes awry. Greene would play the female lead, so no more playing second fiddle to Bella!
I'll be honest, I wasn't all that familiar with Greene — or some of the other New Moon actors — before Twilight took off. Kristen Stewart's career was perhaps the most well known, but the gang's notoriety couldn't even touch the recognition they receive now. They're already landing big-name magazine covers, and I'm sure films like The Apparition are just the tip of the iceberg for Greene and the group as Twilight mania continues.
It makes me curious though — who do you think is going to get the most out of the film's success? Obviously, your first pick might be heartthrob Robert Pattinson, but let's not forget that it's sometimes hard for an actor to break out of a role that made him huge, since everyone associates them with the part. Maybe Kristen Stewart is a stronger choice since she had already established a growing career before Twilight took over? Or maybe even someone who's more on the sidelines, like Kellan Lutz?

1Rob has 3 non twilight movies coming out in 2010- I think the others might have 1 maybe 2 so I say Rob has had the most success so far.
2Nikki Reed I think was the best out of the bunch before getting to really know and love the cast. She has been around Hollywood the longest and battled a lot of the tough part of Hollywood as well.
I love Rpattz but Sadly I think that he will be a ship in the night after this craze is over. I hope I am proven wrong. I think he could become a really good actor and show what hes got after time. Also I don't really think his heart is in it. You are right he's gotten more offers thus far for movies but a lot of the times hwood's it boys get movie roles during bursts of fame and they tank later on. Kstew I would say her bc I do think she is a good actress and I see her going places in the future. Although the way she comes off to the press could hurt her. Then again she Knows how to stir up controversy, which ensures her name is out there albeit not in the best way. She is the girl everyone loves to hate. I get what she is saying though about one thing. She loves to act she doesn't like the celebrity that comes with acting and basically having your freedom stripped away from you. I feel for the girl she's just trying to hold on to who she really is instead of who everyone wants her to be.
3I think Nikki was the most well known, and critically acclaimed before this, not Kristen. Kellan has 4 movies out from now til next year (Eclipse, Meskada, Warrior, and New Moon), he's also got some stuff in the works and his modeling. I think once the craze is over, Rob won't be as famous, but Kellan as the looks and personality to go far. I think Nikki will continue to make waves in her indie films, and do some big budget from time to time, so my vote goes to them.
4I actually think Anna Kendrick will fare well. She's getting serious buzz for her role in Up in the Air and wasn't she one of the youngest people ever nominated for a Tony award? I think she will be the longest lasting actress of the group. Of the leads, my vote is for Kristen. She had the biggest career before Twilight with Into the Wild, Cold Creek Manor, Panick Room, etc and I think she'll stick around past this series.
5I think they all have the ability to go forward and do great things. It just depends on the choices they make from here on out. It was hard to choose between Rob and Kristen, but I finally picked Rob because of his personality and like-ability. As long as they make good film picks and keep themselves known all of them could have a nice career.
6I think Kellan and Nikki have the most talent and will go the farthest after Twilight. I'm not a fan of Rob or Kristin, or their acting, and while Taylor is definitely a heartthrob, I think people will think of him too much a "Jacob".
7i honestly think that hollywood bigwigs dont care about the others... in fact i dont care about any of the other stars besides R-Patz - he's hot AND can actually act and he has a huge fanbase.
I think K-Stew isnt that great an actress and it doesn't help that she appears very ungrateful for all the fame that Twilight has brought to her! She has lots of fans but doesnt seem to care about or want them - she ALWAYS sounds and looks so unhappy... i, personally, think R-Patz is like that a lot too.

8Unless his next movies aside from twilight are really good I don't think Rob will have much of a career after twilight. It happens all the time, an actor becomes very famous for playing one character and after that role is over people can't see them playing anyone else so they begin to fade. Look at Zac Efron, this time last year everyone was obsessed with him and then HSM ended and he has slowly faded.
9I picked Nikki Reed because I've seen some of her other movies and I liked them considerably. I think her part in the Twilight movies doesn't showcase her acting potential. As for the rest of the cast, eh. ha. I think Robert or Kristen might become too identifiable with these roles and could damage their career, even though I don't think to highly of their acting abilities. Good luck to all of them, I guess.
10I think Rob will be very successful. He has Remember Me coming up in February and he will be in Bel Ami and Unbound Captives. These three movies are totally different to Twilight and I think he will be appearing in more in depth roles.

I think none of the cast will go far. Rob will never live down his role as Edward Cullen...sorry Rob, but i think you'll always be remembered as the "guy who played Edward Cullen". Kristen Stewart is a very bad actress lol i don't think i would ever take her seriously. You'll see in a few years, these people will be washed up and be on some reality show or something and people will say "Hey remember those Twilight people?"
12Kristen Stewart is a BAD actress... they all suck, but I like Rob the best as I think he has actual talent. I don't think he will move on though, it's like the LUke Skywalker curse.

tatlor lautner will DEFINATLY GO further than anyone else. he has been in like 20 movies before twiligth that have been popular, and he is the hottest.
15Definitely TAYLOR LAUTNER! He is totally hot, and totally ripped. And has been in movies before such as Cheaper by The Dozen 2 with some other well know actors. He as a good shot at an amazing future!
16To think that Kellan Lutz will have the more lasting career is laughable. I also applaud the person with the Ashley Simpson avatar. If that is your idea of a good actress, I feel for you. Kristen smiles, she doesnt feel the need to put a fake one on just for your pleasure. Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is nothing to be proud of.

18kristen stewart will have the best career and most longevity in hollywood. rob pattinson might be hot for awhile post-twilight but not sure if he's got sustainability in the industry. he and kristen should stay together after they finish these films so they don't look like an cheap on-set hookup. not to mention that would give him a bump in his career clout as well. definitely wouldn't hurt. hope he treats her right so she'll stick it out with him.

20kristen definately, she has 3 (beside twilight) movies coming out: the yellow handkerchief, welcome to the riley and the runaways and she is going to play in two new movies: K-11 and an american girl. And she has been praised by critics in her last movies: adventureland and the cake eaters.
21Hard to predict...but probably Robert. Only him, Taylor and Kristen are getting the most hype for Twilight. If Rob plays it well he could easily end up with a career like Leonardo's.
It was only a few years ago; after The Beach and The Man In the Iron Mask - that people were saying that Leo's career was over. But now he's a big leading man.
Yes it is hard to break away from a popular franchise...but not impossible.
22i definitely say that kristen is the one out of the cast that will go the furthest, because when twilight is over, she will know what to do next. and people may say they don't like her that much or all these things, but from what i've seen she's a sweet girl with a good head on her shoulder, she feels things in her heart and she expresses herself and shes not like every body else. i also think robert can go far too, he's a talented actor and if you've seen his previous works like i saw how to be and was surprised by how much i liked it and how good he was and just how believable it was. people under estimate him, and give him a bad wrap as just being a pretty face. the thing is he is a good actor and he can go far. i think all he has to do is pick the right movies and just be true to kristen. if he and kristen stick it out through this hype about them, then they will ensure to the public that they r more than just a hot hook up which they most assurantly not. i believe in their success, and i do not want to see them wash up anytime soon. i just hope that ppl don't turn their backs on them, their trying they really are trying, and what ppl may call ungrateful i call striving for a life. even if ur rich or famous that doesn't make u happy. i think that if they can get thru this portion of their life they can do anything, and anyways....taylor he's got the body i guess but really...i don't know about him just yet. so my vote is kristen.
23chris weitz saved new moon and the franchise from becoming a laughable joke like twilight was. and he did the movie mainly because he wanted the opportunity to work with kristen stewart. she's only 19 and already has worked with so many big names in hollywood--robert dinero, sean penn, jodie foster, meg ryan, emile hersch, ryan reynolds, william hurt, melissa leo, john corbett, james gandolfini, sharon stone, dennis quaid, juliette lewis, etc. and she's only going to become more and more sought after following her notoriety from these movies. she has a lot of nature and innate talent and people recognize that in her.
24most fame after twilight in this order: kristen stewart, then robert pattinson...maybe anna kendrick and taylor lautner. the others will do bubble gum flicks and crappy ensemble cast thrillers...namely kellan lutz, ashley greene and nikki reed will likely go that route. jackson rathbone will probably become a full-time musician. dakota fanning and michael sheen are already established as respected actors. peter facanelli and elizabeth reaser or too old to have hot careers any longer. jamie campbell bower may do a few more foreign films but will never be big in the US. the others--wolves, humans, volturi--will probably just fade into the background.
25rob will probably be known as that 'handsome kid from twilight' for a long time since he was relatively unknown before he did these films. hopefully he can overcome that stigma and gains some respect with future films he's a part of. i think being with kristen stewart and having the added respectability and credibility that brings is a very smart move for him professionally. better her than some stupid starlet who's not taken seriously.

27I think that Kristen, Robert & probably Nikki will have much more success than the other cast. And Anna Kendrick because she got acclaimed for her work in 'Rocket Science' which earned her an 'Independent Spirit Award' nomination. So I think these four will make it far better than the others of the cast members.

29Rob and Kristen are both brilliant actors. Kristen has done more pre-Twilight films, but Rob has got a good line-up of movies post-Twilight, so I guess it's a tie. But both of them love doing indie movies, so maybe we won't see them in blockbusters much. Nikki and Ashley are really good two, Nikki was fabulous in Thirteen, and Ashley has done great in her horror movies. I haven't seen any of Kellan's movies, and Taylor's too young to judge, so..
30I say Nikki too... I don't think Kristen can act at all. Her studdering and fakeness in a few Twilight scenes was almost enough to make me turn it off. But I do love the film and the franchise so I looked passed it.
Rob will do well but like others have said, I think he will always be 'Edward' and I think a good 75% of ppl are obsessed with Edward, not Rob. So I am not sure if they will follow him for long. I do hope I am proven wrong though.

Good look to any director who takes her on in the future...she acts herself in each movie...she doesn't act! 40I have to say Robert Pattinson is making some very wise choices about movies he's getting himself into, though he certainly doesn't make it easy for himself. If he continues making those decisions then I think he could really be the one with the biggest career. But as he could just as easily be out of the picture in three years, I am going to say Kristen Stewart.. she may not have a big career in terms of major movies, but she'll probably continue as the independent movie actor she has been all along and will only grow more appreciated. I think there's a definite possibility they will both have great careers, though.
41unlike most of you I personnally believe that all the cast of actors in New Moon are talented and have an opportunity to achieve a great deal of success. It all depends on the moves and choices they make. Twilight has provided the showcase and presented alot of opportunties let's see where they take it. Good luck to all of them, we should be so lucky.

48Honestly, I think Jackson Rathbone should have been included in this list. He is extremely talented. Did anyone see the episode of Criminal Minds that he was in? Absolutely fabulous. He's also got his band, so really, he can pretty much do anything. Also, Anna Kendrick. Seriously? The girl can act. Up in the Air will definitely help her career, too.
49Anyway, I think Kristen (and most likely Rob) will continue doing mostly indie films. I don't see either them completely sucking it up in the near future, at least, so they'll probably be pretty well-respected in that community. I could see Taylor Lautner doing a lot of rom-com type movies. Nikki Reed is already well-respected because of Thirteen, and we'll definitely see more from her in the future. Even if it's nothing huge, she'll definitely be present in the industry for a long time to come. Kellan and Ashley (as much as I love them) will probably end up being those actors that are smaller parts in a bunch of movies you'll see, but very rarely will they be leads.
Taylor Lautner would defaintly benefit from his role of Jacob Black in the Twilight saga because he never really had a really important leading role in movies and now he would. Plus, i bet, most of his fans will stick with him because he so "clean" meaning he's not a bad influence, he doesn't do drugs, he doesn't smoke and he doesn't have a bad reputation. EVERYBODY LOVES HIM!!!!!!!!!! (but not as much as i do ;P sexy, hot, handsome, gorgeous, beautiful, muscular TAYLOR LAUTNER I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU *sigh*)
