So You Think You Can Dance is now in full swing, and Dancing With the Stars is nearing its season end, but it looks like there won't be any time of the year when you have to go without a dance competition show. It's just been announced that Kathy Griffin has signed on to host Let's Dance, where stars re-enact famous dance routines from pop culture. While it sounds kind of awesome, I feel overloaded with similar news, since Oxygen has just given its competition reality show Dance Your Ass Off a new season.
I love a good dance show (and good dance movie), but I worry this may be too much of a good thing. Are we in competition dance show overload?

I'm not a fan of the dancing shows, personally.
1Yeah!! That's how I found the new NBC show on at 8 called Mercy!! Didn't think I'd be able to get into another 'hospital drama' but the show has been quite promising thus far!! Worth a shot if you're sick of dancing at the same time!
2I only watch SYTYCD. I couldn't handle more than one. And even then, I'm kind of annoyed that they decided to do a fall season.
3I watch DWTS and SYTYCD. And I'm with Allyace....I thought I'd love the fall season of SYTYCD but honestly I'm annoyed with it. I look forward to summer all year (for many reasons!) but also for SYTYCD. Also, I don't like the judges picking the bottom 4 without America voting! Russell was NOT bottom 4 material.
4I really don't watch them. My mom used to love DWTS, but she got sick of it. After awhile, it gets old, and the stars aren't as good as they used to be. (Kim Kardashian? Holly Madison? Really?) Oddly enough, my dad likes to watch it now.
5I don't watch nor have I ever watched dancing shoes. Not my thing at all.
6I like watching "Dancing with the Stars". That's the only one I watch. "So You Think You Can Dance" was okay too but it was on at the same time as other shows so I haven't seen it in a while. But this new show sounds just plain stupid plus I don't like Kathy Griffin at all.
7I don't watch any of them and I think that all reality competition shows are worthless. I love Kathy Griffin but I won't tune in.
8I didn't vote because I'm not really that into them, but I just think if you don't like them, don't watch them! There's plenty of other stuff on TV.
9I love SYTYCD. The others can go away.
10SYTYCD is the only dance competition show that I watch. While I'm still enjoying it, I agree with others that the Fall season is almost overkill.
11I like SYTYCD. I too am a little annoyed about a fall show since it's a summer treat during repeat season. Also I didn't like last season that much.
I can't get into DWTS because I just don't want to watch mediocre dancing. Overall, I think the SYTYCD kids are so talented and it's amazing to see what true dancers can do.
I'm just not interested in watching another dance show.
12i only watch Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew, but i'll tune in on others if they're on...and they're not totally stupid.
