Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, the buzzed-about sequel to the cult fave, hits theaters tomorrow — just in time for All Saints Day. (Such clever marketing.)
I already peeked at the trailer, and it looks like a very cool, stylized follow-up to its predecessor. This time, the storyline follows the MacManus brothers (Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus) as they return to Boston to seek vengeance on mob members who murdered a priest.
Fans will probably be curious to see if it lives up to their beloved original, but I'm on the fence. It seems entertaining, but it could be one of those films that you love or hate — depending on if you're in the mood for gun-toting bloodshed. I'm just not 100 percent sure if that's how I want to spend my Saturday.
Tell me your stance: are you going to buy a ticket to Boondock Saints II? Or is shoot-'em-up stuff just not your thing?

3Loved the first movie. I'll probably just wait for it to come out on Netflix, unless my friends decide they want to go see it. If it's even playing out here. Which I doubt it is.

7I own and love and can quote and happily re-watch the first (I'm Irish and grew up by Boston, this and Good Will Hunting are my jam.... or the movie version of "my jam"). I knew for years they were trying to do this and honestly had NO clue it was coming out now!! I will definitely try to catch it in theaters.
8the first one is one of my favorite movies of all time! It's only playing in mostly on the coasts (LA, NY, Boston) but they'll wide release soon I'm sure. Can't WAIT to see it! LOVE the brothers and what I've seen of the new one looks awesome!
9The first one is in my top 10 of all time. I jsut saw the second one..... It what you expect. Cool gun shooting scenes, cheesy funny lines. over the top acting, and awesome chemistry between the actors.
The first was better, this one is worth watching. My only complaints are some of the minor characters got too much screen time and some of the shooting scenes could have been longer and more clever.
