So You Think You Can Dance Rundown: First Dancers Eliminated!
The emotional roller coaster of
So You Think You Can Dance begins! The dancers competed for the first time on Tuesday, and with the enthralling routines came the first two contestant eliminations. We're now down to 18 dancers, and I'm so happy and relieved to finally be in the throes of the competition. I'm ready to talk results, the guy and girl eliminated, and the most memorable dance routines of the night (spoilers ahead!).

SOOOOO glad Russell is still in it! Hopefully he'll pull something a little more exciting out of the hat next week.
1Dear Nigel- Russell???? Really!?! Sure he wasn't super duper amazing, but he did not deserve to be in the bottom at all. I'm pretty sure it was all a ploy for some added drama.
2I think they put him in to see him Krump and basically let brandon know right away he was going home. I mean.. they praised Russell to no end last night, they werent gonna cut him. It was just for entertainment purposes.
Really enjoyed Jakob and was pleasantly surprised by Ryan, Ellenore and Kathryn!
3I thought it was a great night! My fave dances were Legacy and Katheryn and Molly and Nathan (who i have been hoping since the beginning of vegas would be paired together for the show). I love Adam as a perm spot, but I did love the rotating judge and I will miss many of their comments,like Tyce, Debbie and LiL C. I would like them to make the 4th spot rotating.
4Adam is a great addition as a permanent judge; his critiques are constructive and supportive. I think the judges made the right decisions last night; perhaps Russell was in the bottom because they want him to perform at his best no matter what. The tough love approach can inspire, but it also can backfire. Hopefully, he'll be inspired to be at the top of his game throughout the competition.
5I thought Travis Wall's piece was one of the most memorable of the night! He is an amazing choreographer.
6My new favourite, apart from Russell, is Jakob. He will soothe the blow of Billy departure from the competition.
I liked Travis Wall routine too. He'll be better than Mia some day.
7Does anyone know what Billy's illness is?
