Ever since 500 Days of Summer, I haven't been able to get Joseph Gordon-Levitt off my brain. (And yesterday's trailer for Women in Trouble doesn't help!) It's not like I didn't pay attention to him before — I loved 10 Things I Hate About You — but my adoration for this guy is ballooning faster than his career.
Gordon-Levitt has loads of projects coming down the pipeline: his upcoming film Uncertainty just got picked up, and he has Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio and Hesher with Natalie Portman both slated for release next year. Sure, he's kind of an indie guy, but I'd love to see him come into his own as a leading man. (Perhaps he'll even take on the Jack Ryan series someday?)
All right, so I've gushed enough, but am I alone in my crush? Do you see the JGL appeal that I'm talking about, or is he still just the geeky guy from 3rd Rock From the Sun? What do you think of Joseph Gordon-Levitt — love him or leave him?

1first of all, I absolutely love that there is a concrete 98% consensus on loving JGL. second of all; I love that I am part of that consensus!
2to me, Jospeh Gordon-Levitt is the most adorable, sexy, funny, and uuber talented young actors today. he excells at everything he does, and makes any project he's in better. I really think he will be so successful and have a long career of celebrated, varied performances...
JGL was my first crush growing up and he still is 10 years later. He grew into a very talented sexy man.

3I LOVE him! If you haven't seen it, check out Brick. He is so good in it (and quite hot).
4I liked him in 3rd Rock, but I loved him after Brick and Mysterious Skin. He's the best young actor out right now

9OMG ever since 500 days of summer I have been a huge fan.
10I haven't even seen 500 Days of Summer yet, but I was a huge fan after Brick and The Lookout. He's also super sweet to his fans, and the members of his film forum. When he was shooting the short film he directed Sparks, he invited everyone on the film forum to come down to a club in LA, and be a part of the film. He walked around talked to everyone after filming was finished, and was just very charming, and appreciative that people would come out in the rain to help him out. No one goes out in the rain in LA unless absolutely necessary.
11Beyond his fans a bunch of other celebs that he's worked with came out to support him as well. It must be a testament to how nice he is because people you never expected to jump into a crowd scene with a bunch of skater type kids and giggling girls were there jumping around like everyone else.

I loved him ever since he was in 3rd rock and then 10 things. I lost track of him after that but I recenly saw Mysterious skin and he was amazing in that (great movie) and also in 500 days of summer of course.

28Used to hate him so much on 3rd Rock, but after Mysterious Skin, totally in love with him. More so after watching the only so-so 500 days of summer. He was absolutely adorable and gorgeous, wish he was my bf instead...lol
29Adore him! He's witty, charming, handsome, cute, etc, etc. He's also extremely intelligent. There's something about his eyes and the passion he has for his craft. I saw him in quite a few of his movies. He totally disappears into his roles. He's not Joe; he's the character he's playing. He was so convincing in the Lookout. I keep asking where are the other guys like him out there? I prefer the lean, smart and cute guy to the likes of Channing Tatum or any celebrity known for his physical appearance out there. Joseph is far more handsome and sexy in my eyes, physically and mentally.

31i like joseph gordon-levitt. i didnt really much care for him in G.I. Joe. and all his other movies are pretty good.
32i really liked him in Manic. It was a little weird. I didnt like him in GI joe. I liked him in all his other movies. he really does get focused and lost in his characters. he is very convincing. kinda the way Heath ledger did his roles. of course that is what sadly got him killed.

lol, btw one of my favorite movies by JGL is Treasure Planet. He may not have been in the film physically, but his sexy voice sure was.
