"Survivor" begins its (gulp) 15th season just under a month from now, with 16 new contestants trying to outwit, outplay and outlast on islands off the coast of China. The grand poobah of all reality shows is still trucking along, but it's seemed to get less and less attention in its recent installments. Has "Survivor" finally become irrelevant?
Whether or not the series has run its course, the casting folks have certainly rounded up some interesting wannabe survivors for this round, which premieres Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. My favorites: a chicken farmer who goes by Chicken, a gravedigger, a Christian talk show host, a professional poker player, and a WWE Diva named Ashley. Here's a full description of the season and its contestants, and to see each of the 16 introduce themselves, read more

I want to watch it just to see scenery from China.
1I'm so over you, Survivor.
2i think the last time i watched survivor was the all-star case & that was just because i loved boston rob, but i hadn't watched the 2 seasons previous to the all star one. but, china does actually make it a bit more interesting. finally a place i've been to.
3I still like Survivor. It's not as exciting as it once was but after a few episode, I get back into it (takes a while to develop an interest in the characters). They need to have more exciting individuals (Boston Rob, Rupert, Richard Hatch, Stefanie, Johnny Fairplay) to keep the viewers interested. For now, I'll still watch and I'm looking forward to the latest installment!
4Maybe next year they'll make "SURVIVOR:Wal-Mart" and all the contestants have to split up into different aisles and eat Great Value canned goods.
5Wow - this is the first FEMALE mullet i've ever seen:
...thereby making this a reason to watch!
6The people definitely make or break each season! I started watching last season and stopped after a couple episodes. They were boring!
7survivor: china, does makes it sound really interesting. survivor has this ability to pull me in even if i'm not really a huge fan of the show. it's like the black hole. lol.
8Im still bummed that they canceled Pirate Master.
This Survivor looks cool, cause I like the setting, but it seems like another attempt at bumping up international interest for the Olympics being held in Beijing. From what Ive heard there are quite a few other shows being courted to film in China this year as well.
9wow -thats quite a few seasons (15 already! yeow!) haven't watched since season 2/
10I followed every season except for 14! I was living in a hotel and moving so I didn't get a chance to watch. I am going to give season 15 a shot.
11I LOVE TODD HERZOG! i have never been a survivor fan but I have to be now. (He's one of my best friends so of course I am cheering for him!) So, I am officially a survivor guru.
