I think it's safe to assume these days that if there's an event on Fox, Ryan Seacrest will be hosting it. Fox announced today that Seacrest will be the host of September's Primetime Emmy Awards. The news came just days after Fox tapped Seacrest as the "entertainment host" for the Super Bowl in February. And of course, there's that little matter of "American Idol," which Seacrest will be hosting again next year.
A lot of you defended Seacrest a few months back, but with the Emmys plus the Super Bowl plus "Idol," the man is becoming inescapable. Do you think he'll make a good host of the Emmys? And, more to the point, are you going to get sick of him?

As for Seacrest, I try to avoid him at all costs- radio show, E! network, and I always Tivo Idol so that I can "boop-boop" right through his segments.

19Having Ryan Seacrest host the Emmys is such a let down! He's like having someone place a Tiffany's box on your gift table at an expensive party. Yes, it looks good even promising in appearance. Then the jokes on you when you finally get to see what's inside and it's just a gumball machine ring!! He kind of looks good but then he just doesn't deliver what you expect!!! I probably won't even watch the Emmys this year because he's the host.
