Yesterday I brought you news that NBC plans to provide us with 1,400 hours of coverage (plus 2,200 hours of online broadcasts) for the 2008 Olympics, but how much of it will interest you?
Are you one to obsessively tune in for any and all Olympics events, or do you just watch a few particular things? Or maybe you ignore the whole thing?

I actually haven't watched olympic sports in a LONG time, but I remember back when they were held in atlanta, I watched the gymnastics stuff a lot.
1I really love Olympics! I just can't wait for the next one and i try to watch everything! But, i must admit that my favorite is gymnastics!
2I used to watch a lot more but since having a kid I watch less. I love the gymnastics.
3Mostly just the stuff I find interesting.
4During the last summer olympics, my roommate and I were both unemployed: we stayed up at all hours watching the most random events. We managed to see every single swimming event (Michael Phelps was a big incentive). Eventually, we also got jobs...
5The Olympics are just on too much. Not to say that I'm not sucked in every once in a while by random events like diving, etc. but I think its overkill that they're doing 3,600 hrs of coverage.
6I love the Olympics, and am glad that I will be able to see some of the more obscure sports with more coverage. There are plenty of other stations for people who aren't into them to watch.
7I love the Olympics. I will watch a good chuck of them. Well maybe not really random but enough.
8I NEVER watch the Summer Olympics. Until they add some sports that I and many other people feel deserve to be there, I will continue to not watch.
9As for the Winter Olympics, I will only watch the snowboarding.
I refuse to watch the coverage here (in Canada)! Once they add more hours of the PARALYMPICS than maybe, i'll watch them... not the designated ONE HOUR they show now!
10i just watch figure skating, swimming (especially diving), and gymnastics
11I used to be a gymnastics FREAK so I try and catch that... For Winter Olympics, I never miss hockey!!!
12I watch as much as I can... because the events I'm interested in aren't the big events... I always make sure to watch Volleyball, Equestrian and Field Hockey. But then if M. Phelps is in the water you can be assured I'm tuning in...
13I love gymnastics
14I find it kinda boring...
15I have always loved the summer Olympics, especially gymnastics and swimming.
16I LOVE the Summer Olympics! I can pretty much watch all the sports (especially when they give those background special stories on certain olympians), but my "can't misses" are:
Opening Ceremony (only when the countries march in)
17Gymnastics
Track and Field
Swimming
Basketball
If I miss the gymnastics all I watch is the closing ceremony.
18i get sucked into practically everything. when it was in torino, i turned on the tv during the biathlon for a few minutes while i ate lunch. next thing i know, it's two hours later and i'm sitting on the edge of my seat yelling at the screen as some guy comes out of nowhere and pulls an upset. all my roommates kept walking past me asking what the hell i was doing
19I don't usually watch anything to do with the summer olympics. I'll watch all the Canadian hockey games in the winter though. I love the freestyle skiing, snowboarding, ski jumping, and luge...although I'm not religious with watching them and will only watch if I stumble upon them.
20i find it boring, i dont see whats so special.
21I'm a former competitive gymnast and I also coached for five years so I have to watch the gymnastics! I also love the diving...so beautiful!
22There are few things in life I can say I'm passionate about but one of them is the Olympics. Love them! Ever since I saw Nadia on the uneven parallel bars in the 76 summer games in Montreal I've been a huge fan. It's the spirit of the event that I gravitate to and I once read that Helen Hunt made sure to work into every work contract that she be provided with Olympic tickets. Go girl!
23I just watch the events I find interesting. I'm a fan of Michael Phelps and Ian Crocker, so I'll definitely watch the male swimming events(nice eye candy too!lol.) The gymnastics events are always fun too watch; I admire them so much since I can barely walk a straight line w/o falling over. Volleyball is also a fun sport to watch. The last winter games were alot of fun to watch; Shaun White was amazing!
24I love the gymnastics, skating and running!
25Gymnastics and track and field for sure, but I usually get sucked in by the whole thing and end up watching more.
26I find each time they come around I watch more and more of the olympics. I'm always sad when they end
27I love watching the opening ceremonies, and all the cool events =)
28I absolutely love Summer Olympics!
I watch almost every sport but especially
swimming, athletics, handball, rowing...come to think of it, I like everything except box and weightlifting. I can't wait for 8.08.2008.! I also think that the Chinese will organize the games
perfectly (awww I wish I could be there...)
29I watched the gymnastics competition religiously when I was younger....I was a huge Kim Zmeskal fan, and it was so awful watching her fall off the beam! My sister-in-law is a former gymnast, so now we watch them together when they come around.
Some of the other events are interesting, but I love the way that athleticism and artisty are combined in gymnastics.
30i regularly watched when i lived at home, but haven't watched much in 6 years. i love gymnastics, figure skating, diving...i think those are the most fun ones.
