So far, "Moonlight" is winning the award for most retooled pilot. Nearly every main character — except for lead vampire/private eye Alex O'Loughlin, one of this fall's supernatural crime solvers — has been recast since the show was announced in May. As a result, CBS didn't send out an early screener of the pilot, so I can't give you a proper Pilot Watch on the show. But I can share a couple of clips from the network — including an "interview with the vampire" (yuk yuk) with O'Loughlin in character as Mick St. John.

i cant wait for this show to start. i have missed angel so much and moonlight could never take its place but hopefully it could come in second.

3I don't know how good this will be, but I will definitely watch, just for Jason Dohring and Sophia Myles (Madame de Pompadour from the Girl in the Fireplace episode of Doctor Who)

9i thought the back story between Mick St. John and Sophia Myles' character was a little "Girl from the Fireplace"-ish. I wonder if that bothered other Doctor Who fans.
I love Jason Dohring but it's a little strange to see him play this character. I still keep thinking that he's Logan Echolls.
