I know Mandy Moore is off the market, but how sweet does she look side by side with Zachary Levi? Unfortunately we won't get to actually see them as an item, but they'll be lending their voices to Disney's upcoming animated 3-D version of Rapunzel. Mandy will play the title role, while Zachary will play the "dashing bandit" that climbs up her locks and runs away with her.
I'm looking forward to hearing Mandy's sweet voice on the big screen, though I never pegged Chuck Zach for the singing type. I'm especially psyched to hear that Alan Menken will compose the music, since he's responsible for the beautiful, funny, and Oscar-worthy tunes from Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. Now, the real question is: how do we just get Mandy to guest-star on Chuck?

I'm not that familiar with Zachary Levi and his show "Chuck" but I do adore Mandy Moore and Alan Menken's music is great, so I'm in!!
1Zac is actually a big musical guy (that's how he was discovered and all that - doing musicals!) so I'm really excited to finally get to hear him sing. He did a show with Greg Grunberg's band and then an episode of Less Than Perfect he sang on. So I'm pretty stoked, needless to say, haha.
2Zach really needs to simmer down with the kids movies. I fear that he will get typecast once Chuck comes to an end (hopefully in like 5 years).
3yay, i like mandy moore. her movies usually suck, but maybe she will be a good voice??? anyways, i like her singing so hopefully there will be some good ones!

5I don't think Mandy's movies are that bad...they may not be Oscar worthy but they are quite watchable for the most part. Solid, really.

7I thought Kristin Chenoweth was supposed to play Rapunzel? Oh well, I think Mandy is a better fit for this project anyway, even if her voice isn't quite as good. I'm excited to hear Zachary Levi sing.
ShelleyHFan: I think her movies have been pretty hit-or-miss. A Walk to Remember, The Princess Diaries, and Saved! were the only ones that received critical or commercial success. Because I Said So and License to Wed were horrible. Chasing Liberty & How to Deal are guilty pleasure movies, but not great by any means. And she hasn't released a movie in a couple of years...
8...but I also think she's a good actress. I liked her voice acting in the first Kingdom Hearts game (she played Aerith).
9Can't WAIT to hear Zach Levi sing!...and the fact that the songs will be written by the great Alan Menkan are a huge plus! This movie has a LOT of potential.
10i like that mandy has something new in the works. i feel like sometimes she doesn't really do too many projects and im' sure that's her choice but doing a voice is right up her alley. hers is really recognizable.

12californiagirl - you forgot one movie of Mandy's that I think is actually really, really good. It's called Dedication. With Billy Crudup. I recommend it. I wish she would do more films like that one.
13They are really cute side-by-side! haha. I actually have liked all of Mandy's movies I've seen. But I'm into happy, feel-good, romantic, comedy movies... and Chasing Liberty, Because I Said So, Princess Diaries, etc. were all like that. I can't wait to hear her sing, she's got a great voice, and Zachary too! Can't wait.
