I never had Showtime, but I rent its series from Blockbuster. "Weeds" all the way.

My hubby and I loved Huff. It only lasted two season's. We were so depressed they canceled it- the same time Blythe Danner was winning awards for it, they cancel it.
the same thing happened on HBO- bye, bye Rome!

Can't pick just one--Tudors and Dexter.

I don't have cable, so I've only seen Queer as Folk (on DVD), but Weeds, The Tudors, The L Word, Dexter, and Dead Like Me are ALL on my To Try list when I get the time.

I loved Queer as Folk, especially the first two seasons. The L word is pretty good. Dexter and Weeds are both fantastic shows. HBO has the reputation for great programming, but i prefer Showtime if I had to choose.

Oh how I love Dexter!!!! I'm all about my HBO shows (I can't miss John from Cincinnati) but Dexter I just LOVE! I've never watched Weeds, maybe I'll check it out. And I wasn't that big a fan of the one episode I caught of Tudors. Lots of sexiness to it, but sometimes came across as Trying to be shocking or over the top. I'd still watch it for JRM mmmmmmmmm

Love JRM. Love the fact that he takes his clothes a lot in The Tudors. Love the costumes. All that said, Weeds is THE BEST show on TV.

Love the L-word! I've only seen one episode of Weeds and to me it was like Desperate Housewives with pot-- a bit too soap-opera-y. I couldn't get into it.

for me it came down to weeds and dead like me, but I went with dead like me. As funny as weeds is, I became more attached to the characters in dead like me.

I've liked the couple of Weeds episodes I've seen. But I went with The Tudors, as I'm a sucker for Elizabethan, er, I guess, Tudor England.

Dexter by a mile!

I loved Lois & Clark. Also, the Buffyverse and Firefly. Battlestar Gallactica amazes every time I watch. But in terms of eye candy that took my breath away, Tarzan with Travis Fimmel was a fave. I think the show even had a plot once in a while. Whoot!

How can you pick just one?! Gale Harold and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (QAF and Tudors) are too yummy for words. Dexter's a fun mind trip and Weeds is hilarioius.

Love Weeds, it's clever, poignant, well-written, funny, and the music is fantastic. Can't wait for Season 3 to begin.

i *LOVE* Weeds, but i just watched 3 episodes of Dexter this weekend and it is totally my new favorite! if you liked 6 Feet Under you should def give it a try.

Weeds is great, but I have to say that Twin Peaks was the best television series EVER. Period.

i've only seen weeds and tudors (a bit) but after 14 episodes i decided that weeds just wasn't all that exciting so stopped watching. i can't wait to hear what you think about the new shows this fall so i can decide what to try and find online. :)yay Buzz!

gotta admit I'm a Showtime freak. i love dexter and miss dead like me dearly..super excited for the Tv movie though. Also the L word is one of my must watch favorites. As were QAF and HUFF. Weeds i only watched the first season but californication..that's gonna be my new show the pilot was HYSTERICAL and AMAZING.

Weeds. I wanted to like Dexter but after one episode of my skin crawling in disgust I realized I could never watch a show with that skewed a morality.
