After watching the trailer for Things We Lost in the Fire, starring Halle Berry, Benicio Del Toro and David Duchovny, I felt like I'd seen the entire movie. Berry plays Audrey who loses her husband (Duchovny) to a senseless crime. Del Toro is her husband's best friend who is also a heroin addict. He moves in with Audrey and her kids, and we can all probably guess what happens after that. I'd been looking forward to seeing this trailer for Things We Lost in the Fire, which opens October 27, but now that I have it's kind of letdown. You can check it out and tell me what you think if you read more

Oh Bencio, how I've missed you.
1I love Benicio. I didn't watch the trailer because I don't have speakers on my computer here at work, but it does look like a movie I'd check out. Is the trailer too revealing or it just doesn't look good?
2I really hate when they cover a whole movie in a trailer like this. I have really good visual memory and I'll sit there and watch and go, wait, I know this will happen because I remember seeing this scene in the trailer. It really ruins things.
3I don't like Halley Berry, but I like fact that it's about two bi-racial couples and their beautiful kids!
4yeah the movie looks Ok, nothing special but i have to admit that i'll be there opening day lol i just Love Benicio Deltoro.
5Ha ha, I'll be checking it out, too, regardless of the trailer. And yeah, brittanybe, those kids are absolutely gorgeous.
6Beth1122 — The trailer doesn't look really bad, but it just seems like there's not much left to learn about the movie after watching the trailer! So, it's a little disappointing.
I have seen and it IS a let down. Benicio is always a great watch- but I can't stand Halley Berry.
7Oh Benicio. Where have you been hiding?
8I have a crush on Benicio del Toro. Can't hide it.
9some very nice eye candy even if the movie ends up sucking!!
10It looks predictable, but seems like a decent rental. I say that all the time!
But I
hate paying for movies that I'm dubious about. Bravo for the multiracial casting!
11Absolutely cannot wait! Love Benicio and Halle. I like the mulitracial casting. It just seems like they just chose the best people for the roles, and didn't give too much thought about what they looked like. Love it!
12This movie looks really good. I can't wait to see it. I, too, have missed me some Benicio del Toro.
