Ryan Reynolds is in talks to costar with Sandra Bullock in the romantic comedy The Proposal.
What's it about?
According to Hollywood Reporter, "The story follows a demanding female boss (Bullock) who suddenly faces deportation to Canada. She makes a deal with her young male assistant (Reynolds) to agree to a sham engagement and marriage."
Despite that, it still sounds cute.
Silly plot description aside, I love Ryan Reynolds. And while I know I may be alone in thinking this, I am of the belief that Sandra Bullock is a naturally funny performer, so I can't wait to see these two onscreen together. It seems like a tired plot line, but hey, at least it's not another blatant remake, right?

Yeah the plot is a little tired. The only sham marriage story I've ever enjoyed was Rosario and Jack from Will & Grace.

15oooh that sounds really good. they're two of my favorite actors out there. they both have great funny personalities. however, the match does seem a little strange to me.. maybe because she's a little older and she's been doing movies for much longer... can't go wrong with a romantic comedy as long as it doesn't have the cliche plotline..
16hope it's good b/c I LOVE BOTH OF THEM. i have been terribly disappointed in any romantic comedies i've been to the past few years. the last one i can think of is 50 First Dates.
Ryan has great sarcastic comedic timing. I'm glad he's starting to get more roles. Best at it since Chevy Chase, which is probably the biggest compliment I could give to a modern comic actor.
