The News: Paris Hilton has been cast in "Repo! The Genetic Opera," a musical thriller set in 2056 about trying to find an expensive organ transplant needed to repopulate the earth after the plague.
Am I Making This Up? No.
Who Can I Blame: The production companies and director of "Saw" who have been working with screenwriters-composers on the script for years.
Will She Be Singing? Yes, though the producers assert that she auditioned just like everyone else and she was the best woman for the job.
Upside: This is so ludicrous it might just be awesome(ly bad), right? I'm definitely curious to hear more about this project.

10this is obviously a bet the director lost and this is the punishment...there's no other logical explanation for this twat to be in a movie, much less a musical.
11I'm going to see it. Probably twice. Here's why;
1. It is going to be HILARIOUS. It's Paris Hilton in a friggin rock opera.
2. Judging by the synopsis, one of three things will happen; Paris will be harvesting organs, will have her organs harvested, or will be dying. Either way, awesome.
3. How many more reasons do you need? Paris will be singing about organs. It's going to win oscars.

13i think this film was actually pretty creative. & i like the industrial/cyber goth influence on the film
