I was just saying how super cute I think James McAvoy is and here we are with a new full-length trailer for his WW II period movie Atonement, based on the novel by Ian McEwan and also starring Keira Knightley. Another reason I'm intrigued by this movie: Saoirse Ronan, the young Irish actress who was recently cast to play Susie in Peter Jackson's adaptation of The Lovely Bones plays a key role.
From what I can tell in the trailer, McAvoy's character Robbie and Knightley's character Cecilia are having an illicit love affair when Ronan's character Briony accuses Robbie of something and he's sent away. 8This movie looks awesome and I agree, I found James McAvoy in a small movie called Rory O'Shea was here or something like that and he was so good in it I instantly started seeking out more of his work.

16I just finished this book and the movie looks like I envisioned the story. The descriptive passages were lush and the book will probably translate into a good film. I think the casting is perfect.
