Last week I saw some very low-quality bootleg versions of The Dark Knight teaser trailer and I'd hoped there would be more to it when the higher quality version inevitably hit the Internet. Yet now it's here, and it really is mostly voices talking while streaks of light shoot out until eventually the Batman symbol appears, and then the symbol disintegrates and we see the Joker's card.
It's kind of creepily effective in getting us to concentrate entirely on what the actors (Christian Bale, Michael Caine and most eerily, Heath Ledger at the end as Joker, from what I can tell) are saying. To see (well, mostly hear) the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight, read more

9Fro mall the little tidbits that have been thrown at us throughout the past couple years, there's the silhouette of an amazing sequel (something that hopefully tops Spiderman II in terms of greatest comic book superhero film sequel ever). I hope I'm not overhyping this and am setting myself up for a long decline into disappointment!
