Well folks, it's official: Drew Carey is the new Bob Barker [1]. I truly had no idea he would actually be made host of "The Price Is Right" when I posted the poll [1] this morning, but what timing! The majority of you who voted thought Carey could pull off this gig, so here's hoping you're right about that. He certainly has a goofy appeal, so I think he'll do just fine — though of course, nobody can ever replace old Bob [1].

Now I'm wondering if Carey will be able to sufficiently crow Barker's signature line "Come on down!" Or perhaps Carey will usher in a new "Price Is Right" tag line?
