well, actually, the host of the show never says "come on down", it's the announcer when they announce your name. i think bob would say, "who's our next contestant?" and that's it.

it's so funny when you're there in the audience, you can't hear a thing because everyone's screaming so loud. so when they call your name, they put it on a big sign and hold it up. my roommate from college went on, it was so fun!

I didn't know he was up for consideration but it suits him, he's funny and isn't an intimidating presence to the contestants.

i really can't picture him on that show.
