While "nothing is official," Seth McFarlane indicated recently that a "Family Guy" movie is a definite possibility for the future. McFarlane has no specific plot ideas yet, but told Hollywood Reporter, "We have been trying to figure out how to do that and the series at the same time without the series suffering."
This kind of smacks of "Well, 'The Simpsons' are doing it, so why can't we?" but I'd probably go see a "Family Guy" movie anyway. What about you?

30There is NOT already a Family Guy movie, because Stewie Griffin's Untold Stories was a two-part episode (three if you count the the episode it spun-off at the pool). It's not a movie, it's just a DVD that had all three episodes in it. However, if they were going to make a movie, they would need a lot more time than normal because they're running out of jokes and need time to put something together that would make sense and would follow the story line. However, I suggest a 10 minute skit of the whole family fighting the chicken.
