Michael C. Hall! He's brilliant as Dexter.
1How am I supposed to choose between Hugh Laurie and Michael C. Hall?! (I chose Hugh, but seriously, tough choice!)

4Bethinabox: that's exactly what i thought (and did) ! But seriously, both dexter and house make me crack up a lot, so i always thought of them as comic-dramas... is there something wrong with me?
5I really had to think long and hard about it – but my heart is with Michael C. Hall on this one.
I guess I always go for the more nuanced, un-showy performances. And Dexter just rules the TV airwaves.

8We cannot afford to take Hugh Laurie for granted. He has NEVER "called in" a performance on House - he doesn't know how. Hugh is an amazing and intuitive actor. The fifth season second-to-last episode "Under My Skin" was particularly magnificent, and was presented to the Emmy voters as the example of his work. It is just one reason why, THIS YEAR, he fully deserves his Best Actor in a Drama Emmy, even as he has deserved it for the four previous years.

Aaron Paul also was fantastic - he deserves an the Emmy.
