I see Parker Posey doing it but doesn't she already have a show coming out? I just think this is up her alley in terms of quirky roles she usually like to play.

did they do any research to find out what a person has to go through to get a diagnosis of MPD/DID??
and how do they call it a comedy? having MPD/DID isnt funny at all.

unless u call these thing funny:

waking up out of a fog not knowing where you are or how you got there.

noticing your son with a black eye. and when you ask him how and where he got it...he tells you "it was you mommy" and you have no memory of it.

having to give your childen up to their dad....because you have no control over you body or mind. (i never want to be on the news for killing my children)

not being able to live a normal life because your not normal and never will be.

I am 47 years old and live in a 55 year old body of a woman who was diagnosed 25 years with DID (no longer MPD and hasn't been for years) I found this to be a delightful program! People take this way too seriously and obviously have yet to find the positives in being DID. Life is too short. I am not making light of what anyone went through to get here after all I have had over 230 identifiable people inside of me, it's just after all these years it is wonderful to see something other than Sybil or Three Faces of Eve. It was tasteful, honest and good for me anyway. Maybe in time you will learn to embrace yourselves instead of wasting energy where you shouldn't. What's wrong with finding the humor in things? Learn to accept yourselves and be able to laugh at yourselves whenever possible. It's called actually living, not just surviving.

What a horrible idea!!! MPD/DID isn't something that a person gets because they drank a poisen from under the kitchen sink by mistake ya know people... it happens because of a tramatic event in their lives that caused their mind to cope in the only way that it could so that the body could survive and that was to create a new person! however it also means that instead of one single person who knows everything that happens in the day etc you now have at least TWO seperate people who may or may NOT know each other... one of whom may not like living at all one of whom may still be a child and react to the world around them as a child dispite the phisical body being that of an adult which causes the need for yet another "person" to be around to "help" and a cycle is born all because someone did not do something in a person's life and it hurt them! and now we are poking fun at this fact???? what the hell has this world come to when we have become so desensatized to pain that it is "okay" to poke fun at other peoples pain???? What's next making fun of someone in a wheel chair? or how about the blind person with the seeing eye dog and the cane????
