Kanye West looks cute even when he's wearing those cheesy plastic sunglasses from the '80s that look like venetian blinds. Perhaps if I had a pair, I could get a better grasp of this new video for "Stronger," which is a take on the song "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by French electronica duo Daft Punk. The track will appear on Kanye's next album Graduation, due out in September.

For the robotic, synth-happy song, Kanye goes with some dystopic Japanimation-inspired visuals — complete with mysterious subtitles — and casts himself as some sort of sci-fi protagonist. I'm not really loving the song, but the video is fun to watch. Tell me what you think when you read more
Thanks to Stereogum for the tip.

Cool vid. But I wished he did more tracks that are just like his first album, College Drop Out. The singles for that albums have been some of my favorite hip hop/rap songs so far. I have yet to hear a rapper top his songs for that album.
