Apparently Warner Bros. has spent "the past five months searching for the actor to play Hal Jordan, the hot-shot Air Force pilot who is chosen by a dying alien to be his successor in an intergalactic police force known as the Green Lanterns." Now the list has shortened to three names: Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, and Justin Timberlake.
The director, one of the producers and the studio each have a different favorite among the three, and they're having a difficult time coming to an agreement. Budget may be another consideration, as Green Lantern will reportedly be "a full-blown space epic that is expected to cost between $150 million and $200 million."
Ryan Reynolds has proven he can play a comic book character; do you think Bradley Cooper or Justin Timberlake could also do well with this kind of role? Who should be cast as the Green Lantern?

Three words - Brian. Austin. Green.
1Nathan Fillion! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hTiRnqnvDs
2Timberlake, really? I don't get the appeal. No.
3RR - for sure! i think that he'd be great in the role. although i do like the idea of BAG symphonee...good one!
4I like Ryan but he is already tied in with Marvel and Deadpool.
I think Nathan Fillion would be a great choice. But if not then I choose Bradley Cooper.
Justin as the GL would be a really bad idea. He is not a very good actor but a good musician. And I am pretty sure the hard core fanboys would not stand for it.
5Seriously, Nathan Fillion is a far superior choice to any of them. The fan trailer he was in was incredible, millions of people have seen it and realized the standard to which the actual film should strive. That said, I don't really think any of those three actors can fill the role of Hal Jordan and not casting any of those three over Fillion would be a big disappointment. I demand Fillion, and that WB find a way to work around Fillion's Castle schedule, and whatever he may possibly be doing with Rainn Wilson and DC Comics (...).
6Ryan! He's so fuuny and great looking
7Totally agree with Nathan Fillion as the best choice! He's an amzing actor.
8None of the three are suitable for the role. Ryan would be the most obvious choice but he is already a part of another comic book franchise. Bradly Cooper just doesn't look like a superhero type. And Justin Timberlake is just a complete horrible choice. He is a musician, not an actor. I wouldn't even waste my money to see the movie if they decide to hire Justin. Locate someone else.
9None, I like the idea of Nathan but Joss Whedon would have to let him out of his closet.
10I can't see any of them in the role esp JT
11What about Tom Cruise? He has pilot experience. ha ha.
12Ryan would be absolutely perfect! If he was cast, my interest in this would skyrocket =D
13Okay, Nathan Fillion would be a great choice, but why not Mos Def? I've always thought he'd make a good superhero, and Green Lantern would be a good fit.
14Nathan Fillion.
15I agree with the the Nathan Fillion vote, that fan trailer is awesome. Don't think anyone from the list could pull it off. JT is a singer, not an actor.
16All I can say is that I don't see JT in that role.
17Well, they officially announced that Ryan has the part.

Even though it's officially Reynolds, I'm still putting my vote for Nathan Fillion!
19Nathan Fillion would have been awesome in this and he really deserves a big role like that. Ryan is busy enough
20Although I take an ethical stand against cloning, I support cloning Hugh Jackman for all superhero roles!
Fillion would've been fun, but he might be older than what WB is shooting for - a franchise character.
Incidentally, Fillion did the voice for Wonder Woman's boyfriend, Steve Trevor, in the direct-to-vid WW movie WB put out not long ago.
21Nathan Fillion!
22Nothing against Ryan, but Nathan is perfect for this roll.
None!!
James Franco! Ha ha
23Bradley Cooper can't go wrong! Im loving his humor- especially from his new funny or die clip for All About Steve... bit.ly/n7O3f
