Advance tickets for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince are going fast! Sales for the sixth installment in the Harry Potter film franchise have already outpaced the advance sales for the opening of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and a few hundred screenings for the movie's opening weekend have already sold out. So, Harry Potter fans, have you gotten your tickets yet or are you not buying your tickets in advance? Or are you going to avoid the first weekend crowds and go another time?

I haven't bought my tickets yet and I don't plan too. I plan to see it on Thursday when they have student discounts at my movie theater and you can't buy advanced tickets for that.

4I got my tickets a couple of days ago with a few of my friends for the 12:05 showing because the midnight screening was already sold out. I can't believe they are selling out a week in advance!

6Not yet, but I double checked today and there's still midnight tickets available at my theater of choice for the midnight opening. I just need a headcount of my friends to know how many to get!

9Wow that's crazy. We're hoping to go see it after work on Wed. Hopefully there are enough theaters in the area that we'll be fine.

12I wanted to go to the 12:01 showing but with my work schedule I can't justify it so I have to wait until Friday! I'm going to make sure I go to a later showing though so it isn't full of teens who haven't seemed to master the skill of being quiet...
13I want to buy them, but my boyfriend is very firm in not wanting to go when a whole bunch of people dressed up as witches will be there...haha.
14My boyfriend works for AMC so we get to go for free! I'm super excited.
