Ladies and gentlemen, Ryan Reynolds is a movie star! Between his scene-stealing performance in Wolverine and the box office success of The Proposal, there's no denying his screen-king status.
But all that momentum isn't stopping him from dabbling in smaller, independent projects. He starred in this year's tiny but adorable Adventureland, and now he's just added an independent project titled Buried to his plate.
In Buried, Reynolds will play a civilian contractor who is kidnapped in Iraq and wakes up buried in a coffin in the desert. According to Variety, he took the role to "stretch his acting chops in a movie with a claustrophobic premise, and one in which he holds the screen through most of the picture."
Clearly, the man has range. But which roles do you think are best for him: big, mainstream movies or smaller, indie ones?

He's great in anything really. He was nifty in Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place as well.
1i love him regardless - but i think that sometimes i like him in bigger budget movies because you know that you'll get to see him. even though i live in NYC and we get just about every indie movie - you never know if you're going to miss something and his gorgeous face should NOT be missed.
2who cares as long as we see more of him. I have loved him since two guys a girl and a pizza place. same with his co star towards the end of hte series, nathan fillion
3Me too, I loved Two Guys A Girl and a Pizza Place just cos of him... and he was the only one even watchable in Adventureland, everyone else just made awkward faces and played with their hair the whole movie
4I was never a big fan of his and never paid close attention to him but when I got my Entertainment Weekly in the mail last week and his fine ass was on the cover in a bathing suit that was falling off him- HOT DAMN! I now have taken an intrest in him.
5I refuse to choose
6any Ryan is good Ryan...
7any movie. as long as we get to see him without his shirt on.
8Ryan Is Just Amazing In Everything He Does!!!But I Think I'd Rather See Him In Blockbusters Like X-Men Origins...Scarlet Is A Very Lucky Woman!!!
9he will always be Van Wilder to me!
10i love him in anything
11I was just going to say I loved him in Two Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place...but someone beat me to it lol
