Every Summer, book publishers dress up new titles in breezy, summery covers that feature ladies on the beach, or a house on the beach, or flowers, or flowers on ladies — it's sometimes hard tell the whimsical poolside read from the heart-wrenching memoir. So when I came across
a helpful article that sorts through this Summer's new releases , I just had to share. May you spend many long, lazy Summer days reading!

Jennifer Weiner is an absolutely great author...she's in the chick-lit genre for sure but it's a little more punchy and her books are a little more deep than Sophie Kinsella and others (whom i also love)
if you've never read one of Jennier Weiner's, but are interested in a light girlie read, check it out...but make sure to read Good in Bed before Certain Girls, and make sure you know that the Boy Not Taken is short stories, not a novel
1Love the slide show. Thanks, Buzz.
2Jodi Picoult is my favorite author. I've read all her books. My Sisters Keeper has become a movie. It comes out really soon. She always has an issue to question ourselves within the plot. The issue in My Sister's Keeper deals with having a baby to provide stem cells, blood, kidneys, or whatever to save the life of an existing child.
3I'm noticing more write-ups about good books to read. Thanks, Sugar!
4Oooh Commencement looks really good, I'll have to check it out! and Sophie Kinsella/Madeline Wickham has certainly been busy, eh?
