Most of this year's vampire-centric projects aren't hitting screens till Fall — which means True Blood gets the Summer all to itself. The HBO show is one of my favorite reasons to keep your TV on this season, and there's not much longer to wait: The show's second season premieres on Sunday.
To celebrate, I've got four new clips from the season premiere — and while I'm sure they only hint at what's to come, they're some pretty good hints. One shows Jason attending a meeting of the Fellowship of the Sun, which seems in line with the praying we saw in the last video. Another shows some tension between Sookie, Jason, and Jessica (including one moment that made me laugh out loud). And a third involves a battle between Maryann and Tara's mother.

16i can't wait! been watching season 1 this week to refresh my memory. though i don't remember from the books if jason originally got involved with the fellowship of the sun? (not going to spoil anything but seems like they're keeping in true line to the books)
17I can't wait! I realized last week I like summer television so much better than fall. Mad Men, True Blood, My Boys. Why can't we get better programming when I want to stay indoors. Oh well! Thank God for DVR.

I dont have HBO either, but we have a group that watches at a friends house. More exciting that way.
