August Rush is a fantasy-drama (I think) that comes out in October, but I know many of you are fans of Jonathan Rhys Meyers (don't forget to enter my "Tudors" DVD giveaway!), so I'm passing along this brand-new trailer. Keri Russell also stars, as Louis Rush's (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) love interest. Together the two have a child, August Rush, who they are forced to give up (played by Freddie Highmore who played Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Later, they all magically seek each other out via their unique musical talents. Or something.
All I know is that it looks like Robin Williams plays an advice-doling urban cowboy — without a trace of irony. The jury's still out as to who, exactly, this movie is geared toward, but if you like any of these actors the trailer is worth checking out, so read more

Jonathan Rhys Meyers looks wacked out in pictures.
looks cute
Jonathan Rhys Meyers is my new obsession.
Why do people insist on continuing to employ Robin Williams? Robin, please go lie down somewhere for a few years.
i love keri russel, so it's definitley worth checking out.
okay so it was 11 year ago that they gave up their son, but Keri and Johnathan still looks like their characters 11 years ago; they don't seem to have aged a bit.
Robin Williams, why must you ruin a movie that has the potential to be seen by me in the theaters. Not I'll just have to wait for the DVD release. Thanks a lot. Couldn't they have hired another comedian like Steve Carell or someone
This looks really interesting. Definitely worth checking out. I like the story line and I'm a sucker for happy endings.
I agree blogsap. He always looks a little creepy in still pictures. I like him better on screen. Very cute. Of course, I think he's probably gay based on things his co-stars have said about him...
Johnathan Rhys Meyers' accent kills me (love it)
i'm in i'm in i'm in
august? what a great name!
Freddie Highmore is adorable and seems well cast as the son. Robin Williams just doesn't seem to be a good fit, though.
Great cast, except for the potentionally ominous Robin Williams, and an interesting plot so I will be seeing this one. I recently saw Waitress and it reminded me of just how much I like Keri Russell. She is quite talented and I am glad she is getting more work.
Just wanted to say I love that pic of Keri. She looks so chic!
Oh, my goodness, I almost started crying watching this. It looks so good. And I'm liking Keri Russell more and more. And Freddie H. does an excellent American accent.
I started bawling in the theater after I saw this trailer.
I saw this movie last night. Freddie Highmore is adorable, and the music and photography are simply amazing. And Jonathan Rhys Meyers looks great and not crazy in it.
I spent the entire length of this movie overjoyed, but on the edge of my seat. The amazing complexity in which August hears the world is breathtaking. He finds music in the most unexpected places - subway trains running along their tracks, basketballs bouncing on the playground, wheat blowing in the field. Everything he hears is inspiration for a grand symphony in his head, one he doesn't know how to play. Once he touches a guitar for the first time, and then a piano, and after that an organ, his musical thoughts are brought to life. The symphony he composes is an intricate masterpiece that left me with a fantastic sense of euphoria at the end. Never have I felt so exhausted, yet rejuvenated, at the conclusion of a movie.
I saw August rush just yesterday and becouse my friend pleased me not to leave her alone. But afer when we finished waching... I love this movie
