Tonight, Conan O'Brien becomes the fifth man to step behind the vaunted desk at NBC's The Tonight Show, taking over the spot from Jay Leno. A while back, many of you said you were ready for a change and wanted to see what Conan could do in the slot. So tell me: Will you be watching tonight's first show?

Absolutely! My friend Todd is a writer on the show now, so I'm going to be wigglin' those rabbit ears tonight. (Yes, I still have rabbit ears. They will work for another what, week?)

8As much as I love Conan, I just can't stay up as late as I used to for him!

12This is going to be a fiasco.... Conan is an idiot. Jokes and monolgues are awful. Now Jimmy Kimmel or Carsen Daley would have been the better choice. I think the network will see a definate loss here.......

14I prefer Letterman,(the guy Conan replaced)& have been watching his show since he jumped to CBS,after he felt Leno beat him out for the earlier slot

16Conan is the absolute best talk show host and he will do wonders for this earlier slot. while I luv Jay and don't think there was anything wrong with his show, I am just excited to be able to watch Conan earlier. I luv that everything about him is just hilarious, from the tip of his bright orange pomadour to the bottom of his strange lanky legs. plus, now I might be able to go to a taping (super yay!)...

19Conan O'Brien suck's NBC could have not made a worse choice replacing Jay Leno. Conan has no talent what so ever, he's not funny either.
20NBC should have stolen John Stewart from The Comedy Channel. He has material that is funny.
What some folks for that time slot want is some humor commentary on: life, politics, personalities, and some world events. Jay was really good at that. Dave is pretty good at that. Johnny was great . . .
I think that Conan might want to do some of that. Just watching silly videos made in advance until the guest of the evening comes on will get old.
