I was disappointed. Clearly, it's blasphemy that I'm about to say...I didn't really care for "Twilight". I love Rob Pattinson to death, but I just couldn't get into the movie.

Ok so I'm turning 20 in two weeks and already I'm feeling a HUGE generational gap between me and whoever the heck voted on the winners... I mean seriously, Miley Cyrus?

Why is Twilight is so popular? I unfortunately saw the movie, and it's a comedy, and a bad one at that. And don't even get me started on Miley.

However, I did hear the incident with Mr. Cohen and Eminem was halarious. Is it true Em walked out in a puff?

This is the problem when awards are based on viewer votes...you get all the fangirls and obsessed fans voting all day, every day until the polls close.

I'm a Twilight fan, a pretty big one, but Twilight didn't deserve half the awards they got. Kristen Stewart for Best Female Performance?!?! Puh-lease! She can't act and sure as hell didn't deserve that award. Total fail!

i am a twilight fan, but seriously....the movie was TERRIBLE compared to the book. i blame the director (katerine hardwicke) and not the actors. i don't think it deserved all the awards it won. i REALLY hope new moon is better.

I don't think Twilight should have won best movie and Kristen shouldn't have won...but I agree with Rob, Best Fight & Best kiss!

I still don't get the Twilight phenomenon. (And no, I'm not one of those people who is blasting it without even trying it out first.) What's the appeal of a girl who's willing to give up everything she has for some guy she just met? And all because he's sparkly and beautiful? I just don't get it. But oh well, to each her own.

Twilight won the most number of awards- I'm so shocked

I turned 31 yesterday and I am a huge Twilight Fan! I knew Rob would win Break Through but best fight I thought might go to a more action packed movie. Don't care as much for Kristen but Twilight fans went online to vote and just clicked Twilight for every catagory there was.

BTW I am a fan of Rob's and a fan of the books- the movie wasn't as good as the books but they didn't get a huge budget either. This next movie got a little bigger of a budget and the last 2 will have even bigger.

Twilight was so overacted and ridiculous... but you have to remember who was voting on this stuff. At 23 I'm officially too old. Not too old to read twilight, but too old to catch the fever and watch the mtv movie awards and be excited.

I saw Twilight, but the book was better. I'm glad Rob won, but Kirsten has no emotion when she acts. Twilight not even all that. And I didn't even watch the awards cuz I knew it would suck. But I forget that overpubesent girls made this award show suck. And don't get me started on Miley, Zac, and Ashley, they got their big breaks on a big corparate joke, which we call the disney channel where disney has lousy actors.

I loved the Twilight books but seriously the movie was pretty badly done and in no way deserved most of these awards. I can get why Rob got his award but Kristen?!? Seriously she is and awful actress and what was up with her last night? I don't get her appeal at alllll.

It's totally insane that Twilight won so many awards. This obsession with it is absolutely ridiculous. The Dark Knight should've won best movie award, that was by far the BEST movie! Also, Kristen Stewart is a terrible actress. She's also annoys the crap out of me with her bizarre response to fame. I can understand that you might be shy and a bit timid when you first become famous, but she's just strange. I can't stand her. She's not pretty either. Call me a hater, but this 'Twilgiht phenomenon' is just a teeny bopper fixation. Absolute bull. And High School Musical and Ashley Tisdale winning? Are you kidding me?! The public view of talent these days is entirely warped. It's unfathomable. I totally second nygurl's statement about The MTV Movie Awards being an equivalent of The Kids Choice Awards. Kids and young teens don't understand real talent whatsoever. The only award that I believe was rightfully given was Heath Ledger for Best villain.
