There's been talk of an Anchorman sequel for some time, and now according to Will Ferrell, they're starting to have more concrete discussions about what this second Anchorman would entail. Many of you said in the past that you'd welcome a sequel about Ron Burgundy, and I think I would, too.
More often than not, news of sequels only causes widespread groaning, since we all know most sequels can't even come close to being as good as the first film. But then there are others — like the possible Zoolander sequel — that are not too hard to imagine. What other movies might lend themselves to fun sequels? I think the eerie Cloverfield easily allows for future movies set in various cities with other menacing threats. And I personally enjoyed Isla Fischer's Becky Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic so much that I'd love to see her in the same role again. What do you think?

Know what I'd like to see come back? Originality.
1I love Cloverfield. There are so many different ways you could make a sequel about it.
2I'd love to see Confessions of a Shopaholic and Zoolander
3I agree with misshouston! I just commented on that on the post for the possible remake of girls just want to have fun.
But I think that Confessions of a Shopaholic would make a good sequel being that there is actually a series of books. I never saw the movie so I don't know exactly how much of the books were covered, but there would probably be potential to do a followup.
4Anchorman gets my vote! Love that movie!
5Zoolander!
6Shopaholic has like four books in the series so that would be an easy one to make. But I would love to see Ron Burgundy or Zoolander in another movie.
7As much as I love Anchorman AND Zoolander, some movies just don't need sequels...
8ZOOLANDER!
9Shopaholic!
10Anchorman
11I have not been impressed with sequels except Briget Jones, maybe. Really I don't like them, but if they must make one it might as well be for a series that's never gonna die like Batman or Superman.
12i still cant believe you enjoyed shopaholic, buzz. i love reading your blog because you have great insight, but i usually almost dissagree with your opinions. but thats not necessarily a bad thing, is it?
13I would love a Cloverfield sequel. I read that if hey did do a sequel it would be about someone else filming what happened the night of the first Cloverfield movie. There is one shot where the camera sees another guy filming the monster too. To me that is the perfect way to not ruin a great movie with a lame sequel.
14a sequel to taken would have been good! woot woot liam nesson
