Tonight, ABC will premiere The Goode Family, an animated series from King of the Hill's Mike Judge about a family of politically correct folks (vegans with a dog named Che who only buy organic, etc.) with an over-the-top desire to do right. Know anyone who fits that description?
Judge is a funny guy, and the strong voice cast includes Nancy Carell and Linda Cardellini — but this show still has me on the fence. Sometimes I think it's hilarious, while other times it just makes me cringe. Check out the clip below and tell me: Are you waiting eagerly to watch this one tonight? Will you TiVo it for later viewing? Or do you plan to skip it completely — or hold out to see if it makes it to DVD one day?

I don't know. I'd watch King of the Hill if nothing else was on, so I have a feeling that this show might be the same.

2it's situationally funny, but not ha ha funny. Seeing as how I live in SF, I'm an organic soy latte liberal mac powebook owning, bianchi bike riding, angkor wat travelling, npr listening, heirloom tomato loving graduate of a women's college, I'm probably the target demo. I'll give it a shot, but SuperNews on Current TV does this schtick WAY better

7I'm not a big fan of King of the Hill but I did checked out this new show anyway. I didn't find it funny at all.
8I watched about 5 minutes of this before I fell asleep. What I did catch, I did not like.
9I actually watched it and....The Goode Family was really BADDDDD! Note to ABC let FOX have the adult cartoons stick to making dramas/dramedy's ( The Unusual etc) and good sci fi ( LOST, V, Flash Forward)
