We're heading into the first Saturday in awhile without a new episode of Saturday Night Live. Looking back, this season was pretty great for hosts: I feel like week after week, I was impressed at the wide array of actors, comedians, musicians, and sports stars who took a shot at hosting duties. Personally, I was smitten with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's dancing, and what's not to love about Neil Patrick Harris? Hugh Laurie's holiday singing was adorable, and Molly, like so many others, was really into Justin Timberlake's official night of hosting.
But with so many strong contenders, who was the best?

4Justin Timberlake. He should hosts every season. Another one of my favorites from this season was Dwayne Johnson, Jon Hamm, and Ben Affleck. They were all just brilliant.
5My favorite of the season was Jon Hamm...hands down. I'm not sure the material was necessarily better or that he was better...but I think I was so surprised at how funny he was, that is made it that much more enjoyable.
NPH, JT and Hugh Laurie were my other favs.

mostly depends on the cast itself, the host it just a decoration, obviously all of them can act (except for Micheal).
19Honestly, I cannot choose just one host. I loved JT, Will, Hugh and Paul. Anna and Neil were also wonderful. See, I cannot decide,lol.

28I think a great host is funny enough that all the sketches on the show are more entertaining. Hands down the best hosts of the season were JT and Paul Rudd (Single Ladies, anyone?). I missed Hugh's and NPH was a great host, but the writing stunk IMO

32I had a couple favorites. Justin Timberlake, The Rock, Anne Hathaway, all of them were awesome. But I'm shocked to say that Zac Efron was my favorite! I couldn't believe how funny he was.
