After 35 years of Showcase Showdowns, spinning the Big Wheel and playing Plinko, Bob Barker has officially stepped down as the host of "The Price is Right." The white-haired stud's final episode at the helm of Contestants' Row airs today, but if you'll be unavailable to see it during the day, don't worry — CBS will replay the episode at 8 p.m., right before the network's coverage of the Daytime Emmy Awards.
Some fans camped out for days to get their chance at tickets for the final show, which taped June 7. Today, maybe we'll get to see one of them go home with a new dinette set or (dramatic pause) a new car! To watch a clip of Barker greeting one of those die-hard fans, read more

Awwwww, this is so sad! He's an icon!
1Bye Bob!
2It won't be the same without him
I can't even begin to think who could possibly take his place.
3Oh, I just ache. What are we going to do without Bob? Really, is there a person on the planet who can fill his shoes? Should the show really go on? There's a great/funny tribute to him, including clips of classic moments from the show here:

Thanks for 35 great years, Bob!
4this is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad

5i knew this day would come but it doesn't make it any easier
any word on the replacement?
I heard that Rosie O'Donnell is vying for the top spot....and that Ross the Intern would be her announcer.
6So sad. He walked out onto the stage and into confetti, while the announcer said something to the extent of, "For the last time, Bob Barker".
7They really went all out on some of the prizes. I was shocked to see 4 cars up for grabs. Really good cars.
I don't think anyone can replace him. It just won't be the same without him.
8Bob is an such an icon. Can't imagine who will replace him.
9Noooo! The show cannot go on without Bob! Noone can take his place!
