Last weekend's Saturday Night Live finale featured the return of Will Ferrell as Alex Trebek in the popular Celebrity Jeopardy sketch. Almost everyone I know can quote the old sketches that featured Darrell Hammond's Sean Connery endlessly mocking Trebek ("That's not what your mother said last night!") and Norm Macdonald's hilarious impersonation of Burt Reynolds. Oh man, it was so good to see those guys return and do that sketch again — I missed it!
I also miss the Mary Katherine Gallagher sketch performed by Molly Shannon back in the day. It might be weird, but the armpit-smelling still makes me laugh just thinking about it. Chris Farley's "interviews" with folks like Paul McCartney are classics in my mind, as are the sketches with Will Ferrell and Sheri Oteri as cheerleaders. Which SNL sketches do you miss the most?

Andy Warhol for Levi's
Hush Puppies

"Debbie Downer" never failed to make me laugh. I loved the Bush vs. Gore sketches during that election year. Darrell Hammond as Gore was hilarious. And going waaaay back, I loved the Superfans - "Da Bearsss".
1There's a really old one I love. It was called something like "Mr. No-Depth-Perception." It was amazing.
2Spartan Spirit! And Coffee Talk, Church Lady, and of course Celebrity Jeopardy.
3Celebrity Jeopardy and CowBell!!!
4Dana Carvey's Church Lady was great, as was his George Bush Sr. My brother and I still quote it "Not gonna do it"
5Also, Mike Meyers' Simon and the hyperactive kid tied to the jungle gym - all great and quote-worthy!
I loved when Chris Farley did Gap girl.
6If we're doing "of all time" then I have to go with the land shark. It was before my time, but it's so stupid that it always makes me laugh.
7Sprockets is the best!
8ahhh land shark is AWESOME! I also love those chris farley interviews. Remember when? Yea that was awesome. haha
9You can put your weeeeed in there!
10Prince and Beyonce
I miss Maya... And Amy... And Tina. I started watching when they

11oh, and those brooklyn gals
loved those.
12I miss all of the Chris Farley, Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, Adam Sandler, Darrell Hammond, Jim Brewer, Chris Kattan, etc. etc. etc. It's just not the same.
13Also, they weren't recurring sketches but some of the best bits were the commercials back in the day... Schlitt's Gay Beer, Ass Don't Smell, and Michael Jordan's douche ad really stand out in my memory.
And omg does anyone remember Natalie Cole Sings With All Her Dad's Dead Old Friends? So so funny!
14Sprockets! "Now is the time we dance!" Hilarious!
15The Spartan cheerleaders, and the couple who went to schools and turned popular songs into, basically, opera songs to keep kids off drugs and stuff. Loved them.

Two wild and crazy Guys (steve martin and Dan ackroyd)
Goth talk with Azrael Abyss (chris Kattan again)
Grumpy old man (dana Carvey) also Church lady
Zagats sketch(chris farley and Adam Sandler)
17Jack Handey, the Boston skit, Will Ferrel as the college guy and probably Rachel Dratch as Angelina Jolie and her brother's son ... she wore a burlap sack and had a baby arm coming out of her head ... I've never laughed so hard in my life!
18I loved Jeopardy and the Spartan cheerleaders! I still remember all the good catchphrases from those skits. I also miss the Boston kids played by Rachel Dratch and Jimmy Fallon: "Surf and turf, Zazu!"
19Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey .... BRILLIANT !
20Wayne's World, Mary Katherine Gallagher, Spartan Cheerleaders...there are so many!!
21Ooh, lots! Gap Girls, Mango (do not touch the Mango!), the middle-schoolers (had Maya Rudolph and she was in love with Adam Levine), Dog Show, the Boston kids...so many!
22Celebrity Jeopardy with "Sean Connery" as a contestant.
23I forgot this one earlier: Nick the Computer Guy. "Oh by the way...you're welcome!"

"Sima Da Na!"
...Okay, I'm done now, honest.
27Love the ones everyone said so far...remember the Appalachian Emergency Room? Loved how Chris Parnell always had something stuck up his butt
28Man I'm old... I miss John Belushi, Chris Rock, Lilly Tomlin ,Chevy Chase, and Eddie Murphy. OMG Samurai Delicatessen! And the guy who used to do Frank Sinatra. Now that was pure comedy.
29I was a big fan of Tracy Morgan when he was in SNL, so I have to say Astronaut Jones and Brian Fellow's Safari Planet. I can sing the opening songs of those two sketches without missing a word. I also loved Jimmy Fallon's Barry Gibb Talk Show. The ones I remember the most are all the sketches from my favorite SNL time, the late 90s.
30how could i forget the jersy kids? "You aaaaaaaaa"
31I loved Goat Boy and when Will Ferrell & Sheri Oteri did Morning Latte ... there are so many great sketches! I also loved Goth Talk, Wayne's World, and whenever Amy Pohler played Caitlin, and when Maya Rudolph played Donatella Versace. And when Will Ferrell played Harry Caray. Oh man, there's so many great recurring characters! Sometimes it's hard to find the good stuff, but it's there and it's worth DVRing.
32-The Gemini Twins with Maya and Ana as the girl group. The MTV Cribs with J. Lo or the TRL with Charlize. So funny.
33-Deep Dish with Kenan and Adam
-Nick the Computer with Jimmy Fallon
-Appalachian Emergency Room
-Chris Parnell rapping
-Music Teachers with Will and Ana
-7 Degrees Celcius with Haratio, Chris, Chris, etc.

Oh and I miss Collete "That's Mzzzz Reardon" The Pill popper
36I loved everything with the Bee costumes, especially the ones where they pointed out how nobody even liked the bee costumes. Plus, back when those Muppets used to be on SNL, they had some pretty great sketches.
Anything that Steve Martin did was memorable, especially his old opening monologues. He would play the banjo, stop, and then say to the audience, "Hey, this guy's good!"
The Chris Farley show is my favorite, though: "You remember, um, in that one scene when Jesus goes into the temple and the money changers ... starts dumping them over tables and he just loses it on this one guy?"
37i love te spartan girls and the debbie downer
38I love jeporady!!!!!!!!!!!11
