We still have one more episode (tonight!) left to Gossip Girl's second season, and then we will have spent two whole seasons following "the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite." In the first season we were learning what this world of rich Upper East Siders and hip Brooklynites was all about, and season two held even more outrageous plotlines and (usually) enviable fashion. I can't wait to catch tonight's finale, but in the meantime, tell me: What have you thought of Gossip Girl's sophomore season?

IMO, there is no contest. season 1 was WAY better.
1Season 1 had its annoying bits too, so I went with "the same," but there have definitely been some episodes in Season 2 where they dropped the ball.
2I must say Season 2 statred out slow, but it got better come episode 7
3I thought Season 2 was much better than season 1! I still don't LOVE Gossip Girl, but I think it has improved.
4I thought season 2 sucked in comparison to season 1. So much so that I'm debating if I'm going to even watch next season. I'll see how I feel after the finale tonight.
5Season 2 was just a circus of random character significant other- switching and nonsensical plotlines.
6Season was different and perhaps even better. Season two began quite well but then, the characters became quite random and were nothing like in season one e.g. Chuck is wayyy too adult for a 17 year old. Also, too many plots that didn't make sense ran amok but it might finish well....
7Season 1: Nate and Dan actually had roles on the show instead of just being extras. Plus didn't Dan punch somebody in one of the first episodes? I liked that Dan better than the wimpy, whiny one we have now. Chuck is equally delicious both seasons.
8Finale is awesomee =) I watched it yesterday cause I live in Canada. All I gotta say is best episode of the season or what. Iuno if its possible for wait for season 3 patiently with this crazyness.
9season two dipped in the middle, which i feel like is the norm with new shows. but i still love it!!
10season 2 had way too many "seriously gossip girl!?" moments.
11I can't believe how many people voted equally good or even better. For me there's no comparison. In the second season the plot lines make no sense, it seems like the writers can't think two episodes ahead!
12season 1 was definitely better. i'm rewatching season 1 now, and my.... everyone was much more ruthless - what happened?!
13season 1 was hella good, and although they're not exactly equal, season 2 has been pretty close.
14i also have to admit there were bad moments, like really bad, this season, but lately the show has been getting a whole lot better.
15Pretty much the only thing worth watching this season has been Blair. Last season was way better.
16Season 2 by all means. I loved how they got out Chuck's and Blair's human side though Dan and Serena were kinda awkward with the step-siblings/dating thing.

18I agree with RachLA, dipped in the middle but came back. I wasn't so much about valley girls though...
19The start of series 2 i thought was bad and alot of the stuff that happened was a bit silly.
