Recently there was a laughably vague rumor that Dwight on "The Office" would be getting his own spinoff show. Soon after, "a source close to Rainn Wilson" was quoted calling the rumor "complete farce." But it got me thinking: If there were a spinoff focusing on one supporting character from the show, which character should it be?

1A Dwight spinoff would be cool, but I wouldn't want him to leave - he's too important to the show.
Creed should have his own show. I'd TOTALLY watch that.
2Definitely Creed. It wouldn't make sense to spin off Jim or Dwight since they're so central to every episode. As much as I love some of the other characters, Creed would be the only one has an interesting enough life outside the Office to be worth watching.
3I agree 100%, Jen. We could watch him steal stuff, forget stuff, play his guitar, ogle women, and take lots of drugs. It would be so enjoyable.

5None. It is an ensemble show - the reason it has done so well is because of the strong group dynamics and the way the characters react to and with one another.

i'm SO glad the rumor was laughable. i don't think i'd watch a spin-off of any. i don't think they're strong enough by themselves / out of THE office context.

14Creed would make an awesome character for a spinoff. I always feel like there's so much going on with him that we just have no clue about. I also think Kelly could make for a pretty funn spinoff.

17The Office is going really bad here in Australia (I think it was dropped), yet everywhere else it's going great. Haha.

20I wouldn't want to change it up at all...although I voted Ryan, (spoiler) since how are they going to tie him in with the show when he's in NYC?
